Set up for a big block dodge, motor is not in jeep, but i have everything to make it run. Have a 1970 model 383 out of a dodge truck. Has auto trans. Comes with headers and side exit exhaust. Jeep is in good shape for the year model. Might trade on other project cars and trucks.”

The rear of this has been stretched. It includes kennels for hunting dogs. This was for sale back in 2013, but there were not pics of it at the time. This is how the seller described it in that post: “1955 Willys quail jeep with stretch body. Dog boxes and high rise back set and front scouting seats mounted to front bumper. Not perfect or pretty, but runs strong and gets the job done.”

“1953 Jeep Willys CJ3 Jeep was built for Silverlake and has been stretched 14″ to accommodate room for rear seats and fuel cell. 355 SBC, steel crank, dome pistons, 3500 stall converter, fresh rebuild on t400 trans, J20 rear end, built 455 rear gear. custom cage, 5 point harnesses front and back. Griffen Fab Works built custom suspension that include deaver springs, fox shocks, over 5k invested. Works extremely well in the sand and can eat up most everything Silverlake has to offer. Great opportunity to get into a smooth, safe, and fun ride at Silverlake. ”

This appears to have been a CJ-2A that’s been heavily modified. Possible CJ-2L?

The VIN plate suggests this is a CJ-5 that’s been stretched and put on a Chev chassis. The grille sure is unusual.

(03/20/2018) Lots of mods here. It includes a WARN OD.
“Offered for sale is this 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A. The Willys has a Buick V6 conversion that runs and drives great. The vehicle also has a GM SM420 transmission conversion that works excellent. It is equipped with a granny low gear and a Dana 18 transfer case w/ Warn Overdrive. 4-Wheel High and Low both function properly as well. The axle’s are Dana 44 front and rear. The suspension, axles, and part of donor frame have been welded to the original/existing frame. As one can see from the photos the body is a little rough but as stated above the vehicle runs and drives. This vehicle could crawl off road trails right now or could be a great blank canvas for someone to build on. The vehicle has a clean CA title. Off road use only. No plates or reg. Asking only $3,500!”
I can’t remember where I found this, but I thing it was part fo the Denver, Colorado, St. Patrick’s parade. Anyone know anything about this jeep?
