Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. 1955 Willy Wagon-Model 54168, 55-6-226 Utility Wagon. Has Rebuilt Flat 6, 4×4 with High & low, & locking hubs. Has Dana 44 Transmission, 72 horse. Has New brakes, new brake lines, new master cylinder, new hubs, new carburator-Carter 2 barrel, New fuel pump, new coil, New heater, New electric windshield wiper motor, and New 25 gallon fuel tank ( instead of the 15 gallon).
Vehicle needs some rust repairs, and need paint.

(05/05/2014) Doesn’t run. Listed as a 1950, but it looks like a 2A to me.
“This jeep can be used for parts or restored. Missing a few things, but 85-90% there. Engine does not run. Small rust holes here and there, not serious. All running gear complete,rolls so it is towable.odometer shows 70k”
