About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Or I listed this as a DJ, happy to update what this actually is here! Always appreciate the help. I actually like the yellow paint it looks well done back when it was put on, the original blue in the engine bay. This looks fairly solid.

Neat piece for a few Willys bucks
Information from seller:
Single vintage used “Keep in Jeepin” license plate frame…have never seen another. It’s been a wall hanger for me but time to move it down the road. Nice piece for that Jeep collector in your family.
Barn Find in Indianna-hauled it out ourselves, bought it from 2 owner, have original title in hang, spent its life on small farm for wood cutting and hauling. Doesn’t run currently, has extra doors, glass and PTO winch is massive on rear, we bought the Jeep to restore but decided to restore a different vehicle – typical rusted cap and corners- greet bones and drivetrain to restore. We are recovering our funds- these are hot and collectible- in any condition- won’t reply to BS- come with cash-
Have a willys Jeep and want to use it as a tractor? Want to brush hog your property in style? Power your home when the electricity goes out? This is what you need. Complete and operational rear pto assembly for a willys cj2a, cj3a, cj3b, cj5, willys truck (will need the driveshaft lengthened). Everything is there and ready to be put to work.
Mike sent over this Fleetvan, its rough but not horrible for a NE Rig at times. Still neat to run across these. This looks like a good deal even for the condition just because if your building one there is a lot here from what I can see.
From Mike: Spotted this on F/B marketplace, beat up but the price is right for a non post office fleetvan.

1962 Jeep FJ-3. Only made between 61-65 Title in hand Doesn’t run $650.00 OBO
Doing some digging it looks like Gearhart’s Moving and Storage was local to Altoona, PA found a few ads from them in the 60’s and they were listed many times past that as well.
1943 Willys MB GPW! This is a legit WWII GPW, it’s a project as the engine is currently seized and needs to be replaced. (Facebook doesn’t have an option for Willys)
It has a F-Head engine swapped in from a newer Jeep, but its locked up tight. The drivetrain is stock, otherwise.
It has a custom half-cab from a ’31-32 Ford pickup, custom hard doors, a bench seat and hood bump to clear the carburetor on the F-Head. The body is in pretty decent condition, despite looking pretty poor. There is some rust in the floor out back.
Comes with a near new GM 181 4 cyl industrial engine, it’s a torque monster and would fit with a factory hood. Along with the 181, I have a GM SM465 manual transmission. It would be a more modern, powerful engine with a deeper geared, beefy transmission. Great combo for a Willys!
I’m reluctant to let this one go, you don’t find GPW’s very often anymore. I do have a title for it, no trades, price is firm. Located in Grand Junction on the Redlands.
It’s an old farm truck. 1953 Willy’s truck. Only 200,000 produced in its 20 year run. Original 4 cylinder engine with original transmission. Just cleaned the carb and it starts right up. It runs and drives turns and stops. Someone put a ford axle in front so the four wheel drive is not connected. Have some extra parts and the tailgate for it. Clean title. Will trade for a Toyota truck or 4Runner. Make an offer! Cash talks let’s get this truck to a new home! 4K!
