These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This Saturday July 25th Auction includes a variety of good looking signs. It is part of the Mid Summer Classic Collector Car Truck Petroliana & Memorabilia Auction Fri. – Sat.

“The Rockford (IA) Community Fire Service is accepting bids on 1952 Willy’s Jeep equipped with 80 gallon water tank and electric pump. 24 volt system, some converted to 12 volt. 48,000 miles. Body, engine, drive train in satisfactory condition. Needs batteries. Sold as is. Eligible for bonded title.
Bids accepted until December 31, 2013 and will be opened at January 8, 2014 board meeting. Submit in writing to Rockford Community Fire Service, P.O. Box 481, Rockford, IA 50468.”
This in-person-auction takes place January 7, 2014, in Meredosia, IL. The truck may make a good restoration project. Looks like it has been stored quite a while.
I just spotted this in-process auction. It ends tomorrow (12/4). I don’t know if the jeep has been auctioned yet or not. The jeep has been changed a little. It could be a mis-titled 3A.
