About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Price seems very good on this, not much detail in the Ad in general more of a sales ad which is not a bad thing, just can’t share that much about any back story here.
Looks legit straight and has a cool Hard Top, the Grill and Side Brackets do lend it to be a 1946.
Rear mount spare, front bumper must have a back story, and some extra lights up front as well.

Another large Auction of some Jeep and Farm equipment and lots of smalls as well located out in Napoleon, OH.
Online Auction but…. There are some neat items listed and if you are in the area or are looking to make a road trip, might be worth a look at some of this.
This is an estate sale of Herbert Huddle who passed away back in Feb, doing some research he had a large family and did a lot for his Church. He worked at IH and Campbell Soups, held some patents which sounds like a cool machine to sort jumbled cans into a straight line, would be cool to see that in action. Really sounds like a neat guy. Prayers to his family and those who knew him.
Here is a snap shot of some of the items listed and I will work on getting these all sorted.
It was cool to see the personalized plates for the rigs these are really neat Jeeps and I did not even look at the tractors. “Restored and Owned by Herb and Betty Huddle”. Those are cool pieces reminds me of the personalized plates that you guys helped the grandkids find last month!
I will say there is a certain photo type most Auction houses use since the sites are just so photo intensive that our site does not support, so they have to be converted, its just a few clicks to convert but its time really, probably will take be a good solid hour to do most of that work and time can be hard to get that dedicated file convert process going. Gotta get locked in for that event. I did it with the large FC Auction, it works out in the end. I struggled with this post going on third attempt to get it all sorted, it’s information overload, some technical issues with the computer in general. But I feel I got it sorted out to a pretty basic layout for now and got my conversion from WEBP to JPG down yet to be seen at scale. No complaints just when folks don’t see posts it’s not because we are not working on posts.

Neat CJ, might be a combo of some earlier parts as well, grill for example looks earlier then a ’48 for example.
Information from seller:
More pictures added……….. Running & driving project with Original L-134 4 cylinder and T-90 transmission. Fresh rebuild on front axle and new front leaf springs when front frame horns were replaced. Sides and floors have had sheet metal laid over original metal long time ago. Original floors are rusty but can’t see sides. I have added new seat frames, front bumper, fuel tank and lines, rebuilt original fuel pump and carb.
Nice Willys, listed as a M38 Tub titled as a CJ2A. Sharp looking for sure.
Information from seller:
Don’t ask if it’s available. You MUST be able to pass a background check to gain access to Fort Benning to see/drive it. If you want an old Willys this is the one. Absolutely rust free body. I had it down to bare metal and there are no repairs or patch panels that I could identify. It has a M38 tub but titled as a 1946 CJ2A.
Second one posted up CJ2A looks well done. Listed as having a rear PTO so that’s neat to see. This has some more pictures. Grill looks a little newer, maybe the tub was swapped out? Its really straight. But no complaints it’s sharp looking.
Information from seller:
This jeep was restored five years ago and put into storage. It includes the rare PTO. Message me for additional pictures or any questions.
1945 Willys Jeep up for sale. I dont know too much about these jeeps. Need to clean up to make space. Unfortunately never got around to working on this. It needs work, has not run in years. Would make a perfect summer project. Have some extra parts to go with it. Clean title in hand. Asking $3500, no trades.
Looks like a nice project could be worth a look and see the driveline and engine.
No clue how to contact this one, says do not message listing for a family member. So maybe just enjoy the pictures.
Information from seller:
Listing for a family member Clean title. New motor transmission and clutch of this year. Some bodywork needs to be done Call [hidden information], ask for John and leave a message for more details. If this listing is still up, it is available. Do not message on Facebook.
Willys Jeep Hard Top CJ2A CJ3A CJ3B CJ5 M38 M38A1 $500 Millington, MD
Hard top, feel free to update what you see here with some comments. Still a ways off from learning about these Hard Tops.
Information from seller:
Top only. Aluminum hardtop complete with doors. All glass intact. Needs minor repairs but keeps the rain and snow out These buff to a nice shine. It came on an M38A1. I moved it over to a 65 CJ5 but I think it was made for an earlier model? CJ2A CJ3A CJ3B CJ5 M38 M38A1. 500 obo or trade for jeep and scout stuff.
Want something quick to ride around in this one is even listed to stop! Not up on the exact dates of all parts and pieces but the grill looks a little earlier to me, but will always defer to the experts here. I’m in the club if it has a Transferrable Registration that says ’47 then it’s a ’47. NY typicllys does not have titles for stuff this old. Could just be a good Jeep Salad, has some other features and you can see some seams of pieces and parts, which also not a big deal at this price point for running and driving.
Information from seller:
1947 Willys Cj2a Jeep with rebuilt engine, rebuilt wheel cylinders and new master cylinder. It stopps fine but can use new brake shoes in the rear. The drivers flor pan was replaced and I made it 12 volts and it runs great.
