About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a 1946 Jeep willys for sale. As you can see from the pictures the front end it taken off since I pulled the motor that it came with and was going to replace it with a Buick 3.8. Jeep is in great shape for how old it is. Everything you need to get it back together is all there. Floor needs repair in one spot. I was going to do a brand new tub but decided not to. Frame is immaculate. Comes with a 3.8 turbo Buick. No rush to sell. Negotiable”
“Willys CJ-2A serial number puts it from 1946. Have a bunch of new parts to go with it and two original fenders that are in better condition than what were on it. Was running, Plan was to reseal engine and make it a military replica, but had a new kid, so projects all took a backseat. Rather have this go to someone who use it vs it sitting here for years till I can finish restoring it. Hood and fenders and radiator are off, where I was went I ran out of time. Pulled the head to inspect valves and cylinders, look great. No idea why the listing say automatic transmission, obviously a standard, but no option to change it. As for trades looking for quality bench top lathe and or milling machine. also on the lookout for 6′ brush hog for the tractor or a good wood splitter. or if you have a offer doesn’t hurt to ask. Will be on bill of sales, has old registration from previous owner when it was played in NH.”
“50’s military Jeep converted to a plow rig and grader. Has power up and down grader blade on rear of Jeep. Plow on front , hydraulic up and down. No turn pistons on at the moment but the lines are there to install. Plowed twice with Jeep. It’s a beast. Took in trade. The guy I traded with said he noticed a clicking noise in front end. Removed cover and said one tooth missing from ring gear. I haven’t been into it to see what is going on. I plowed with it in 4×4 and it was fine. Needs 4 glow plugs installed which I have. It’s a diesel. Motor is a 4 cylinder Ford Has a roll cage. Cool rig for a camp or farm. Well built. Firm on price. Thanks for looking. Runs excellent. Has small fuel leak on very top of injector pump. O-ring on top shaft. Easy fix for someone who is mechanical. I have a plow truck. Just don’t need this. Come check it out.4 new tires. Will consider a trade for a decent quad with plow”
“Nice old Custom Willys Jeep with a Buick V-6 engine and Auto tranny with Hi and Low range a 4 wheel drive. It has a fiberglass tub in the rear with a new left front fender and new windsheild frame. Also has a custom roll bar as you can see. I have had the frame all restored and is in great shape. Also has custom front and rear bumper assemblies with tow hitches on the front and rear. Needs a little more work to make it an everyday driver. Have a Mass. Title for it.”
“Very good condition with original engine. Has electric fuel pump and fuel reduction unit. New brakes. Needs new soft top (I have the old one). Has a tow bar.”
“’47 CJ-2A. Garage kept, restored in ’97. This runs and sounds like a jeep. Flat head Willy’s engine with Carter 1 barrel carb. Manual and extra Carter carb included. I’ve had my fun with it, time to let someone else have it.”
