Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This has an APU hood. It’s listed as a 1948, but doesn’t appear to have frame/bumper gussets on the front.

“Freshly restored 1949 CJ Jeep. The Jeep was taken apart, painted and re assembled. As far as we know, the motor and drive train is original. All new wiring, fuel tank, fuel lines, brake lines, wheels, tires, seat covers, gauges. New floor pan welded in. It runs and drives great, will start up first try. Has a cooler rack on the back.
It does not have a windshield, needs front blinkers, all new fluids in the drive train. Come test driving it make an offer. Would be a perfect lease vehicle or to cruise around town in. $6500 but open to offers. No title, cash talks. Please come get this out of my shop.”
There was a time earlier this decade that folks were asking $3000 for a jeep like this.

There may not be any value here, as the heat may have left the metal brittle.
