About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I am selling my 1951 willys project. It does not run or drive. It is a project and needs finishing. It started out life as a stock 51 and since has undergone some transformation. The frame has been lengthened 36 inches and boxed front to back. I built the entire tub from 1/8 inch plate steel. 3 inches wider than stock It has Dana 44 front and rear with 4.56 gear ratio and lockers front and rear. Axles were built and have not even had oil put in them. Front diff has passenger side drop. Leaf springs are brand new 2.5 inch wrangler soft ride lift springs. All hangers and shackles are brand new. Has 4 brand new shocks not mounted yet.
Gm 4.3 throttle body not wired yet, but has ecm and all wiring. It has a turbo 350 in it now but was just put in to get engine placed. It has 2 sets of nice adjustable bucket seats out of 2 mini coopers and a small bench seat out of a geo tracker in the rear. Brand new drilled and slotted brake rotors. Needs calipers, drive shafts, radiator, etc. I started to build this jeep so my whole family would fit, but all the kids decided they wanted four wheelers instead. Now I don’t have time to finish it. It is a really cool piece but it just needs the right guy/girl to give it the finish they want. Come take a look, I have lots of time, money and energy into this jeep. My loss is your gain.”
“I believe this a 1951 will look tomorrow selling for a friend. It has a Chevy 4.3 v-6 with a waren overdrive that’s why there is 4 shifters. It runs and drives but needs a new fuel tank. Has some rust on top of window. Has soft top but that needs some work. No trades and shoot me your offer”
“1951 Willys, Buick V6 , stock 3 speed transmission, transfer case and axles, new 11″ brakes front and rear, tilt wheel and power steering, really nice condition, runs great. Full top and doors.”
This is listed as a 1941 and has a replacement body, so it’s hard to tell from the pics what model this might have been.

“Selling our clean title, 1953 Willys jeep. She’s a project but has a newly rebuilt Willys 6cyl Super hurricane. A newly rebuilt tranny and transfer case. Is a very doable project, has a lot of parts. Asking 3200 or best offer”
“Rebuilt motor 3 yrs ago hardly driven, new brakes, new Speedo cable, new seats, 3600 lb winch. 5 Rare Ford Model A Wheels, one original jeep spare tire, original PTO in working order new cloth top new front glass and doors and extra parts some new, ready to plow your driveway….comes with a Snow plow. Drive it home for $6,500”
“Mostly complete CJ3A. The tub is in decent shape although the dash has a large hole where the gauges used to be. The frame is straight with a saginaw manual gear box. It is set up for a buick V6. It does not include an engine but I do have the tranny, t-case, and drive shafts that came out of it, along with an extra set of axles. The floor is not rotted out and and the tub straight. I do have the windshield frame (not in picture). This is a great starter project for a restoration, hot rod, or rat rod.”
