Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a 1952 Willy’s CJ-3A Jeep serial number 452- GB1 31628…. Has had some work done on it in the past, but still needs more.. Motor and drive train are complete and are original to the Jeep….. Not sure if it runs or not pulled it from a Barn in South Carolina…Body is rusty frame is good and solid with surface rust only….. Good starting point for restoration or use it for parts…. It doesn’t run at the moment, but there still may be some value here. Has a Koenig hardtop.
“Just testing the waters, I have a CJ3A with plow. Everything works on the plow just needs belt. Its all original, three speed manual, 6v system. Needs some work to get it going, hasn’t ran in a little over a year. Tub isn’t perfect and will need some things. Also will need leaf spring, radiator fix or new one and some wiring for lights. It HAS heat! motor was completely rebuilt in the 90s and have paperwork for everything that has been done to it. Mainly used for plowing and light woods cruising over the years. No title but there is no need for one. Its old enough”
Has an OD and a strange headlight setup.

Front disc brakes, warn internal spline lockout hubs, Pro car seats, 8274 Warn winch, t18 ford 4 speed. Warn overdrive, model 18 transfer case, (5) 35″ Maxxis creepy crawlers, on board air, Ez wiring harnass. Swinging pedals, and lots more. Note: Some assembly required. More pictures upon request, serious inquiries only.”

Has M-151 rims. Has a PTO winch.
“1949 Willy’s Jeep CJ2a. Ready for a lease or restoration. Tub is rough. Frame and running gear in decent shape. A lot of parts of you have another Jeep you’re working on. PTO driven winch. 4 cyl flat head engine that was rebuilt before it was parked under a tree. I was the last to drive it, before dad parked it.”
This may have a replacement body. This jeep may be in pieces still.
“I decided to sell my willys project which is a complete unit with:
Frame prepared to receive brackets for coil conversion
Brackets for the conversion and coils are with it. Skid plate mad already Amc20 rear axle with full floater and disc brakes and ARB locker.
Dana30 front axle with lock right locker and disc brakes.
Rustfree and straight body with window option CJ2 or CJ3, both rustfree frames. Tailgate of cj7 added.
Two grills for willys MB option too.
Dauntless V6 complete with transmission and gran case plus Dana 300 transfer case in addition new clutch.
Aluminum radiator brand new. Aftermarket hearter.
Two graynkeater sport seats with jeep writing
Miscellaneous bits and pieces to complete the project like brake booster, pedal set, power steering, etc.
Only small things missing like brake rotors, bearings no rims or tires yet.
Have clean title.
The following pictures shows the way it looked before I started with it. I don’t have time anymore for it. I am currently working on a another project.
