About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(09/30/2012) This hasn’t run in years. How about that back seat.
“1949 Willys Jeep hard top, 260 ford V8 has not run in 10 years. The body has very little rust as it has been stored in my garage. Every thing worked well on it last time I used it 1033 years ago, but believe the engine is frozen now from sitting so long.”
I was trying to locate some more interesting willys-related museums, but instead stumbled across the atlantic, landing in the Netherlands (back in time no less). The result were these 2 great images of old Fire Jeeps with extended rears and wonderful details. There are a few more smaller images of these jeeps at the Netherland focused website Brandweerforum. They have some other non-jeep firetrucks there as well.
Matt’s provided us with a couple of projects completed by Edmund Angelus Automotive. If you are near Roanoke, Virginia and are looking for someone to handle your rebuilds, you might consider them as they have rebuilt a couple of beauties. Thanks for sharing Matt! You can contact Matt at 540-354-4321.
Matt writes: “Welcome to Edmund Angelus Automotive. Located at the foot of Bent Mountain in Roanoke Virginia. I do restorations and all kinds of custom work, heck I will paint a refridgerator if pays my rate of $38.00hr. The yellow jeep is a restoration w/a body kit installed. The Green CJ-3a is the second for the same customer, it also is a off-frame restoration with the original and complete make over with nearly 900hrs, the christmas jeep as it is called by the customers two little twin boys. These are taking an average of 18 to 20 weeks to do. I am currently doing B.J.#102, It is ’46 Willys Boyer Fire Jeep w/out the fire equipment. It found its way to me in literaly pieces and in lots of boxes. Now in week 19 I am acctually able to get in it fire it up and take it around the patch.”
I also have both front & rear differentials/drive lines & L-134 Engine/Transmission/Transfer Case. This Engine assembly is not original to this 1948 CJ2A, it looks older. There are no markings from willys on the Head. Take a look at my other posting & tell me what it is.
I believe this to be 1941 thru 1944 War Jeep Engine.
Please make offer if interested. two zero eight 7nineone0five1nine”
It looks like a parts jeep. Did someone really think that rollbar system would work?

“A project that I will not get to anytime soon. This jeep needs a lot of work. Looks like the drivetrain and engine was taken from a 1968-1971 CJ5. Has a Buick 225 V6, Single stick Dana 18 transfer case, and T-14 transmission.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800. It seems to have a Worman hardtop.
(01/11/2012) Abe forwarded this. It does not run. It appears to include a plow.
“late ’50s Jeep CJ-3A currently not running, mostly complete, 6 volt system. It comes with an aftermarket Jee-Cap aluminum top and doors with opening windows. The body tub is rough, and someone has replaced the rear corners with welded steel panels. Ugly but functional. The frame seems solid and all the mechanicals are there. Great winter project. I will include several Jerry cans, extra radiator and voltage regulator, and the tire chains this jeep came with.
The Snowbear plow in my other ad would fit this nicely. Package price $1,400.
Cash is great, but I might also be willing to trade this Jeep for a 1993-2000 Honda TRX300 4×4 fourtrax (NOT AN EX!)depending on what it needs, even not running or totally complete. I would also consider a ’98 or newer Ski-Doo Grand Touring, depending on condition. Send me pictures with your reply.
I am also listing a 1979 Honda XL350, a Snowbear plow, a Honda Recon four wheeler, some Honda enduro plastics and a utility trailer in other listings. Please take a look, as I will do package deals for any or all of these items.”
(01/21/2012) This is worth a closer look. The seller only wants to deal with people in person.
“This is a fully original 1949 Willy’s with clean title, civilian model with 12volt electric. Jeep has extesnion on back that can be taken off to reduce price. This Jeep has been great around the ranch and does need some body work. 16″ wheels but can trade out for 15″ both with desent tires. Breaks and front wheel cylender rebuit. Runs well just needs tinkering like any 1949 Jeep. Will take seriouse offers. No shipping, No dealers, In person only!!!!
