This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “A 1952 4WD Willys Jeep CJ3a. Nice “Elvis” inspired paint job. Body, frame, and floors all excellent. 4 cyl, 3 speed, Goodyear tires, chrome wheels, lockout hubs, good brakes, good clutch, rollbar. Former farm vehicle comes with original VIN plate and Bill of Sale. Too old for Title.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
“It is a 1952 Willys Jeep that has been used for deer hunting since 1978 when my father
bought it. There is no title, he never transferred it when he bought it and
now has lost the documents. The jeep has some rust spots as you can see in
the pictures. My dad added 4 gun mounts on it. He replaced the engine in
about 1980. The engine runs well.”

New Starter, new battery cables, new front and rear brakes, new emergency brake, new master cylinder, new clutch, carburetor rebuilt, choke connected, oil and filter change, new directional signals, steering shaft column rebuilt, reseal transmission and transfer case.

This old racer has a fiberglass front clip that looks in good shape. The cage looks worth a few hundred as well. There seems to be some “sweet temptation” here.
“195ish jeep cj2 or cj3 tub. Has No engine or transmission. Frame appears to have been cut on the front? Fiberglass hood and front fenders one piece. No title, appears to have been raced or play in the dunes. What you see in the pictures is all I know”
This may have been a nice looking rig back in its heyday.

Listed as a 1947 and a 1948, this appears to be a 1949 (or later) CJ-3A.

“1952 jeep willys cj3A, bought as a project car and did body work on it i have tons of photos of the process if interested. Vehicle doesnt run it is just a rolling shell needs alot of work. Outside was painted army green and inside tub was paint matched in raptor liner, was going to make the truck a off roading truck but dont have money to finish the project. (Only bill of sale)”
