This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 Willy’s CJ, great little jeep, don’t use it as much as I planned, runs good, needs the oil pump gasket replaced, little drip going right onto the exhaust, haven’t gotten around to fixing it. Pretty clean body. No trades.”
The engine’s been switched to an f-head. The body’s not perfect, but looks like a sound rig. It might have the Hudson Steering mod.

“It has a 1953 Willys F Head Motor in it. Runs good, everything works great. Has the original heater that works. Everything is all 6 volt. Has a Koenig winch on the front that works. Lots of new parts, new tires and some extra parts to go with it as well. Has books and records dating back to 1961.”

“49 willies jeep, was used as a sand truck but set up for a rat rod as well. Currently has Pontiac 400 and turbo 400 trans, Ford 9inch rear end with spool and 5.14 gears.
