Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale is my 1962 Willys CJ5 with 38,000 original miles. The Jeep has a new carb and gas tank. It is a civillian Jeep done up to look Military. It has a lot of authentic miltary parts.
It is a 3 speed with a high/low transfer case. She is a lot of fun to drive and my kids love it. I just dont have the time for her anymore.”

“Older Jeep Willys with a plow. Jeep has a manual trans and comes with a spare trans with a pto drive on it. The Jeep is powered by a 4cyl. Runs pretty good, could prolly use a good carb cleaning. The clutch is getting weak. Jeep will work great for plowing a smaller driveway or driveway at cabin. Asking $650obo”

“3 speed manual with 2.0 Litre Ford Pinto motor, removable hard and bimini tops. Rear seat, garage kept, has WA license, but used (almost daily) as a farm 4×4 rig. Rare PTO winch (not electric), includes 2 extra sets of mounted tires, one set studded. Have all maintenance records since purchased in 1997. Has rust and will be a project for total restoration. “Willys CJ2a body tub, in pretty rough shape but all of them are, could be repaired or used for parts $50 OBO
Willys CJ3b body tub, rear has been cut off, cowl is pretty good, rough $50 OBO
Early CJ5 frame, fully boxed, shackle reversed and set up for YJ springs $100 OBO
Extra set of quarter panels $25 OBO
Three sets of front fenders $25 each or all for $100 OBO, all are pretty rough
CJ3b hood, decent shape $50 OBO
I was going to build a crawler out of these parts, combine the two bodies and make one good set of fenders. Sold off most of the parts now and just want this stuff gone. Good start to a nice wheeler or rock buggy. Take everything for $200. If this isn’t sold in a week it is all going to scrap, I hate to do it but I want it off my property”
