This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. David sent this image showing a delivery of DJ-3As. It was printed in “Willys News” in January, 1957. I need to get my hands on some more copies of Willys News.

(05/23/2012) “The jeep is in great running condition, and still has the original L-134 inline four cylinder that starts right up and drives, no problems. The jeep shifts three on the tree. Two wheel drive. Shows 97 miles on the odometer. Always stored inside and the condition reflects that. It was partially restored by the previous owner, and received new paint and upholstery. Tires are in great shape. Let me know if you would like to come and see it.”
