About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(10/23/2022) Unclear how much value is here, but there is some parts value at the very least. This has been turning into 4WD and appears to have a Government plate on the dash.
“Selling one of my flat fender jeeps. I have a lot of jeeps and this one didnt make the cut to keep. Was originally a pink Surrey Gala. (08/28/2022) This might have a DJ-3A or a replacement body. The looks to be a V-6.
“I don’t have many details about the motor and trans, it is not running, but all parts you need are there, transmission and transfer case are installed in the jeep, I would have both rebuilt. It’s not a rust bucket and can be restored”
Tom spotted this amalgamation of parts. Listed as a 1951 CJ-3A, this jeep has a DJ-3A front end, but the front crossmember suggests the frame is not from a DJ. The body could be DJ-3A. The engine isn’t, but it is stuck anyway.
Flat Fender Jeep project. Titled as a 1951 CJ3A is 2WD. I believe it has a 283 Chevy engine in it but engine is stuck and I do not have time to mess with it. Has some rust, but good project. If listing is up it’s available and will not respond to that question.”
This nice looking convertible DJ-3A looks in good shape, but is missing the soft top parts. This jeep may have been sold in 2019 (it was up for sale at that time with different plates).
The seller notes that this was a “basic Dispatch” model. Actually is not a basic dispatcher, but rather the Convertible Dispatcher model. It looks in good condition, though it is missing the hubcaps, the soft top, and the soft top equipment.
“1962 Willys Jeep DJ3A: Red w/ Tan interior. Four cylinder 134 engine with three speed transmission (on column). This is a basic “Dispatch” model Jeep that never had a soft or hard top. This is the last year for the use of the Willys name. Drives and shifts smoothly… turns heads wherever it goes! Excellent Condition!.”
Have 1947 with title Tub had plate on saying 1954 took off to check and lost them in house remodeling . Did lots of work on it 11 years ago , new wiring , water pump, head gasket was leaking ( shaved head .015), fuel/water separator, new brakes and master cylinder, new muffler and homemade Bimini top.
Always smoked and not a lot of power, but plowed snow good. Daughter was driving it about 6 years ago and she said it started smoking and nocking and would not run right. Been sitting in garage. Since. Don’t have time to rebuild flat head motor or the cash right now. Block is in good shape.
I installed large bumper and boxed front of frame for snow plow, have original bumper. Added Reece hitch. It has PTO hook up but they never put leaver through floor. Decided need 24’ enclosed trailer instead….lol Have extra springs and steering linkage Did compression test 55,57,72 & 75 starting on #1 . Askin $2200 obo”
Austin is selling this DJ-3A, which appears to be a combination of WWII parts and a DJ-3A. The axles, transfercase, transmission and rims appear to be from an MB or GPW. The hardtop is a later model version of the standard DJ-3A hardtop (has the larger rear glass door). It’s unusual to see a hardtop on a DJ-3A with the side glass (usually only seen on CJ-5s). My guess is the engine is from a DJ-3A as is the chassis.

“The jeep comes with a jeep plow. I have also replaced the clutch, water pump and have brakes and shocks for it. Here are some pictures. Project Jeep.”
