This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This is an interesting vehicle.
“Rare US Army Audio/Visual support vehicle. 1967 Jeep 2 Door Panel. Runs and drives well. Straight 6(232), freshly rebuilt transmission(3-on-the-tree) with a brand new clutch. 4 wheel drive less front drive line. Very unique rig…just need to focus on my Mustang project, wife requests fewer vehicles…this is the one that has to go. Comes with original Equipment Log Book by US Government. Willy’s Keiser Jeep…a true piece of history…needs restoration.”
UPDATE II: This *might* have evolved into a scam. The seller agreed to sell to one buyer and provided directions to get the vehicle, but now is avoiding the buyer’s calls.

Here is an odd one I spotted on Facebook. It reminds me of Bob’s odd Jeepster-like vehicle.
“This is a very strange “Jeep like” vehicle that is not a Jeep. I was told that it was possibly a specialty vehicle built in the 60s and that it originally had a 4 or 6 cylinder engine that the previous salvage yard owner removed and sold. 2 wheel drive. No seats or top frame. It has full length curved metal running board fenders that Jeeps never had. It also has a center console that housed the shifter. It was originally painted a coral pink color so the possibility exists that it was a resort shuttle vehicle. It is NOT, repeat NOT, a Jeep Surrey model! They look nothing like this “thing”. No engine or transmission. I saved it from a salvage yard over 10 years ago. It has 14 inch “A.J. Foyt” mag wheels that probably are original. Rusty but restorable. Buy it for $900 firm, fix it up, and have the only one out there.”

Motor has less then 500 miles on it. all the Papers on the motor including the cam card. Coupled to a 350 automatic trans. It has been Chopped 6″ ,Channeled 7″, Stretched 12″ . Bagged on the Front and Air shocks on the back for the perfect ride hight and comfort. OTHER FEATURES; Train Horn, Hand made Tilt Steering, Sun Roof with Rag top, Electric exhaust Cut Outs. Redesigned Tractor Trailer Wheels I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT SPENT ON THE TRUCK. I have built a few and this has been a favorite. Feel free ask any questions. Thank you.”

This has the short nose, so it’s most likely a pre-1972. It’s an odd one!
“The car is a clean example of a self assembled woody wagon. this is a one of a kind model .I am not the original owner , it was purchased in 2013 in Pembervlle Ohio. The body work was done by a retired highway patrol officer. that had a lot of time on his hands. I would like any interested buyer to inspect the vehicle before purchase”
