About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Peter’s selling this trailer in good shape. I *think* it is a Converto?
“Very good for reenactors. Has brand new military tires and tubes on very good rims. Additional parts: hand brake, wooden boards, two civil tires to go with.”
“1962 Willys Jeep FC170 Rare 4×4 Forward Control PTO powered Winch Factory T98 4-spd Trans Title in hand! I was told the front bumper w/ winch running boards and rear bumper was a package built for the forest service. No engine and missing engine cover. The rest of this is complete. Bed is in great shape and has the original tail lights (from what I’ve heard very hard to come by. Very little rust (one cab corner has a dime size hole and along the seem on drivers floor. Very cool trucks and would make a great project for a very cool overlander or promotional truck or make it a unique and fun driver.”
“This is my dad’s 1947 Willy’s CJ2A. He put an original military grill on it, bolted on simulated body armor, and installed military wheels and a pedestal mount for a completely fake, but very realistic all steel 1917 machine gun model (not included unless you buy the 1917 also). He used this jeep for WW2 reenactments, mainly in the 1980s and early 1990s. He recently passed and we are selling it. It was last driving in 2018 when it was parked and does not currently run.
Frame is good needs body work. I assume the purchaser will unbolt and remove the fake armor (wood) and restore it. I will include the original 7 slot grill and headlight assembly and the original tailgate. I will also include the original passenger seat, which will need to be redone. There is no title and my dad has owned this jeep since the early 1970s. It was always garaged. $3200 or best offer. Yes, the 1917 reproduction model is available. It is a model, it is not real, nor does it function in any way. It’s a dummy.”
“Air cooled military surplus V twin
Generator engine. Has gear reduction gear box and several splined shafts and adapters for
Other drive applications. It was my father’s very slow project but now he has passed. This engine is from the late 60stime period and has inspection papers. Comes with shipping crate. Must pick up.”
“Sadly due to financial woes I have to part with my Willy’s Jeep project. I have been saving it to restore and sell to raise money for a camp for troubled youth, but I just don’t have anymore personal resources to support this mission. Strong engine and transmission. It was running and driving around the block up here last year, but I recommend a mechanic tune it up before trying to move it any distance. I had all new brake lines installed. I have several boxes of parts as I was in the middle of upgrading the 6volt system to 12volts and changing out the lights to support that system. Also comes with a brand new radiator ready to be installed. Located in Conifer 80433. I DO have the title for this one. I also have a 1953 Dodge M37 from the Caribou Ranch recording studio available. Priced to move both of these so I can move on with my life. Call or text with questions! 3oh3838NineThousand.”
“1952 willy’s jeep. Runs drives and stops good, 318 Mopar motor with 3 speed automatic transmission and a 205 transfer case, stretched 8 inches sitting on an 80s toyota chassis. Comes with extra seats that are in better shape. Definitely built for an offroad toy.”
“1954Jeep Willys. Selling as an estate item so no idea as to exact miles but listing required a number. Has not been moved in several years. Must be hauled and buyer responsible to haul. Cross posted to several sites”
“Original 4-cylinder engine. 3 speed manual with rear pto. Ran when disassembled. Tub needs floor panes installed, suspension has been altered, good frame and suspension included. Milage unknown. Sell as package only. Asking 1500 obo or possible trade for interesting pick-up project”
“1948 Willys CJ-2A. It’s a basket case right now. It has a ford 302 V8 it runs and moves under its own power. The rest of the drivetrain is stock. I pulled the tub off to replace the floorboards and lost interest after I got the tub back on. It needs to have. The brakes and wiring hooked back up. It comes with a bunch of new parts. Could be a fun project for someone who has the time.”
“I have a 1948 CJ2A with rear PTO. It’s all restored to original. The restoration was done roughly 15 years ago but looks like it was done less than that. This was all done recently as it sat for so long: New fuel pump, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, condenser, oil lines, fuel pump to carb line, carb was completely rebuilt, new master cylinder, bell and crank for the steering. I’m sure I’m missing a few things. Have new wheel cylinders but haven’t installed them. Comes with tire chains, a bucket of carbs (3-4) a crate of other parts and a hard cab that needs to be finished. Runs and drives. $18,500. Open to trades”
