About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This is a half top, hard top off a Willys Jeep CJ3a. It comes with both doors.
It is in poor shape but it has not rust through. Definitely worth fixing.”
(02/20/2019) Has some floor patches, but looks like a solid parade jeep.
“This is a 1942 Willys MB Jeep. This Jeep has been converted to a 12 Volt electrical system from the original 6 Volt system. It is an older restoration – please see the pictures for details. In the past it has had some body work done and floor repairs were done with sheet metal. The wiring in this Jeep needs some work and it could us a canvas makeover.
Since this is an older restoration most of the parts on this vehicle are original on this vehicle like the wheels and rifle rack.
This MB is in good driving condition – Perfect for someone starting in the military vehicle hobby or wanting a nice parade vehicle. Comes with all accessories pictured. The pedestal is a homemade pedestal with original .50 Cal’ Cradle.”
Has some parts value, but not sure how much value.
“I HAVE A M38 JEEP UNSURE OF THE YEAR. IT IS A PROJECT THAT WILL NEED TO BE GONE THROUGH. THE BODY NEEDS FLOOR OR A REPLACEMENT TUB. IT HAVE THE ORIGINAL FLAT HEAD MOTOR AND COMPLETE DRIVE TRAIN.”
Described as “Fully and professionally restored Army Jeep”, it isn’t either (not fully ‘restored’ and not an Army Jeep). That said, it looks like there was a great deal of work done on this. The serial number suggests it is a 1947.
“Fully and professionally restored Army Jeep in excellent condition! Only driven 520 miles since completed and completely turn-key. Fully military spec’d with rear seat, jerry can, Army spec paint, military tread tires, tools and more. Fold down windshield, canvass upholstery (no top), 4×4. Rebuilt engine, runs, drives, steers and stops very well with no issues of any kind. This is a super fun vehicle that is great for display, parades, shows or Jeep events. Very authentic, southern Jeep that needs nothing but a new owner”

“Clearing out my garage before winter. Up for sale is a complete rolling chassis from a 1957 Willys Jeep CJ3B. Basically it’s the frame, front/rear diffs with wheels, suspension. There is NO motor, although I do have the original transmission/transfer case combo as well as the drive shafts. I was planning on doing an engine swap, so I also have an Isuzu 1.8L diesel as well as the Isuzu MUA5 manual transmission/transfer case. I went through the entire engine and also resealed/ repainted it. I have a new starter for the diesel engine as well. I also have a set of front/rear narrow track diffs from a CJ5 for it too. As for other parts from the CJ3B I have: the hood, front grille/radiator, seat frames, some electrical parts, gauges, fuel tank, lighting and some other miscellaneous parts. Selling everything together for $500. If you are interested in certain parts separately, let me know.”
