About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Korean War Jeep, off the body restoration, 4cylinder Hurricane engine, 3 speed manual, 4 wheel drive, added locking hubs. Vehicle’s history = from the Marine Corp to US Air Force at Tinker, to the Civil Defense, to private ownership and found in a barn.”
“1943 ford GPW. Military jeep. Willys design, built by ford motor company for the military during WWII. Runs well. Upgraded to 12v electrical system. Still have the original generator and regulator for restoration to original electrical system. Comes with spare set of wheels with tires. Comes with spare gas tank. Smog exempt.”
(04/25/2019) This doesn’t have the correct grille or fenders for a 1952. It’s missing a few other stock parts, too.
“willy m170 jeep. The jeep runs and drives good! 4wd and the high and low both work as well. The jeep has been converted to 12 volt system. New alternator and carburetor. The paint color is olive drab and is in overall good condition. The jeep does have a blue vin tag issued by the state because the Vin numbers were not able to be found. I am selling this because I am a college student and don’t have the time to appreciate the vehicle.”
“1958 Willys Jeep overcab fc.
Has a chevy 4.3 v6 engine.
Runs and moves on its own.
No box.
DO NOT CONTACT IF NOT SERIOUS!
This is a project vehicle. Needs to be trailered. This is NOT a drive home vehicle. No brakes. Have title.”
I like the ‘field mod’ addition of the drink holder on the dash.
“Restored 3 yrs ago, all sheetmetal original other than repair panels and grill, have original grill as a wall hanger but is very usable, post war engine block with gpw internals professionally rebuilt, original T84 that is finicky and have to double clutch to shift down from 3rd to 2nd, all other running gear original and rebuilt, very nice old Jeep that gets tons of comments,”
“Here I am putting my 1951 Willys Jeep up for sale. This was a military jeep body style around 1945 but was tilted as 1951 as that is when the government sold it to the public. I have owned the Jeep for about 7 years. It had a new paint job 5 years ago and has been garage kept at my business since. Only taken out a few time by my employees. I need it to go to someone who will use it and enjoy it.
The things that I have done since ownership are – New Paint job, New Water Pump, Rebuilt Transmission, New Clutch, New Interior Rhino Line, New Air Shocks in rear with built in compressor, new electric fuel pump(bypassed the original fuel pump, this thing fires up right away with out stomping on the gas pedal 5 times before turning the engine).
Besides the items listed I don’t know any other history. Its a 70 year old classic, not in Perfect shape but is very nice and definitely turns heads. Has a tow hitch that hooks up to the front bumper to go with it.
I will consider cash, cash + Trade and or a trade(if I really like it)”
“Selling the jeep-a-trench attachment off a willys jeep. This jeep has been sitting outside for 20+ years.
I have a tractor and 2 post lift to remove and load on your trailer.
NO PTO parts are included for $375 – I’ll remove the bolts holding it to the frame and send it home with you.
Located 5 miles North of Riverton KS”
This is the first time I’ve seen a pick-axe mounted in the bow holders. The jeep isn’t quite all original. I’m not sure how the trailer and jeep are matching numbers, but maybe I am misunderstood the first sentence.
“I got a all original 1946 jeep and the trailer are matching numbers that means. The jeep runs and drives there is nothing at all wrong with it or trailer have both titles. In very good shape would pass inspection. It’s up for grabs im looking to trade for a nice diesel truck or a newer trucks must be worth the trade. This is a very rare to find with matching numbers jeep n trailer that would pass inspection. For right trade or cash offer I have SEPERATE is about 4000 in New parts leaf springs rebuild kits for motor tranny 8 extra wheels tires and alot more like to get 8000 to sell fast”
