About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1947 Jeep Willy’s CJ2A. Standard Transmission, Banana Top, Chrome Wheels, Radical Tires, Original Engine, Hutch included (not currently attached), Runs Good, Won trophies in several car shows.”
John shared this Surrey that has been sprayed with a lighter coat of paint. I discovered I have pics of this from at least a decade ago that were part of Bruce Agan’s archives, so it’s been this color for a while.
“This 1960 Willys DJ-3A Surrey is one of a reported 1,000 examples produced between 1959 and 1964, and approximately 200 of the 1,800 miles shown were added since the vehicle was purchased by the seller in 2011. The body has been repainted light pink, and it features 15″ steel wheels, a rear-mounted spare tire, and chrome bumpers as well as vinyl upholstery that matches the pink- and white-striped removable top, spare tire cover, and sides. Power is from a 134ci inline-four paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. Now showing 1,800 miles, this Surrey is offered in California with an owner’s manual, original sales paperwork, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s business.”
“1947 CJ2A. L134 motor with great compression numbers. Was told it had been rebuilt with not a lot of miles since. Has bestop Full top with removable doors. Front brakes upgraded to 11 inch so stops much better than original. Rancho Springs and shocks. Saginaw steering upgrade so both easier to steer and tighter turning radius. New Battery, Fuel Pump, Voltage regulator, stater relay, and Waterpump. Repaired emergency brake, Transferase rear output seal, Front differential pinion seal. Flushed radiator and all new fluids in transfer case, transmission and both Differentials. It’s still 6 volt and all lights work. Comes with bill of sale. The person i got it from had it for 7 years so should be easy to obtain a bonded title.”
“This Willys MB is said to have been refurbished in Europe and was imported to the United States before it was purchased by the current owner in 2017. The truck is finished in olive drab green with US Army–style graphics, and power comes from a 134ci “Go-Devil” flathead inline-four paired with a three-speed manual gearbox and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes 16″ steel wheels, military tires, a rear-mounted spare, turn signals, a folding windshield, a tan soft top, a rear pintle hitch, pioneer tools, a jerrycan, seats with tan canvas cushions, a dash-mounted rifle holder, and radio equipment. The accompanying single-axle utility trailer is equipped with taillights, a canvas top panel, and troop-style seating with tan cushions. This Willys MB and trailer are now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with canvas doors and side panels, an inoperable rifle, and Arizona titles for both the Willys and the trailer.”

“Offered for sale is a 1960 Willys CJ-5 with a Koenig 550 hard top. It has the EXTREMELY rare optional vertical doors in the rear. The motor is a 1970’s Chevy V8.
It needs the front end rebuilt. I parked it with the intent to restore it about a year ago. It ran great. If you bring a battery, it might start, but I can’t promise anything. Needs pressure plate.
Also included in the deal is a set of steel wheels and some really nice mud tires. The front left tire has a slow leak and will go flat after a couple days, but you can air it up to put it on your trailer. (You’ll need an air tank, my hose won’t reach.) Let me know if you have any questions I hate to sell the old girl, it’s been in the family a long time, but I’ve faced the fact I don’t have the time or money to give her the love she deserves. Price is OBO Would be a great project, it turns a lot of heads on the road. 765-two78-8two26”
“This Jeep was last registered in 2017,put into storage back in 2018 and was pulled out 2 weeks ago. Motor hasn’t been started since. Motor turns over and you can hear the hissing of the compression. Motor serial on water pump boss: J241880 (= VIN). Electrical system 12 Volts. Both T90 transmission and D18 transfer case shift fine through all gears.
Frame is in good condition. Body has been repaired /patched in several places but is very solid. Windshield safety glass is free of scratches. Seat covers are black leatherette and are in good shape. The backing on the rear seat cushions is deteriorating and need replacement.
This Jeeps sits on 4 near new Firestone 600-16 NDTsthat hold air.”
“I’m parting out my project. I lengthened the tub about 3″ at the door frame. This tub is actually kinda rare. It’s civilian but has the shovel and axe dents in the drivers side and a few other unique things. I have other parts on it for sale also. Not a lot of original parts though.”
