About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Might just be some parts here, half a bed, maybe some axles, there are some rims.

Someone started this years ago, I believe it was actually running and driving before the powertrain was removed. Im guessing it’s on a cj2a or Willy’s truck frame. No title Possible trades?
John has this CJ6 listed out in MN, noted as a Fire Department rig then a was put to work in a Water Department. The top on this one is really nice 8 Windows, 3 Wipers, it looks really neat.
Playing the where’s Waldo game there are hints of a M715 and FC-170 in the background, so you might want to bring a bigger check book, but more importantly a bigger trailer.

Runs, drives and stops. Rare CJ6A; one of 460. Plow works. Bought new by the Janesville Wisconsin Fire Department, originally red; then used by the Janesville Wisconsin Water Department and painted yellow. Jeep is in Fountain City Wisconsin. Mileage is 25,247; possible it is 125,247 but doubtful. The Jeep is far from perfect. These are hard to find in any condition; this is in good shape for the Midwest!
This one shows very well in the pics, can’t verify the current condition as its not running and no dates on the pics if these are older from the restore, but its way cool, lots of detail went into this at one time from what it shows.

1960 Willys FC-170DRW for sale. The good: I bought it after it had a frame off restoration so time around 2010. The body and frame are in very good shape to the extent the the leaf springs still have clean paint on them. The bad: Not currently running, I had an issue where on its last drive where it lost oil pressure without warning. Likely a spun bearing or two based on oil testing. While trying to get it home It also spun the pilot bushing killing the trans. I replaced the trans with a refurbished unit. Unfortunately It just didn’t want to seat right and I got tired of fighting with it knowing the motor needed work. Price is negotiable to the right home or will trade for a rougher shape FC150 as they are what I really want.
This was shared on OWF the other day, pretty neat Jeepster, looks complete and has a lot going for it. If your looking for a Jeepster might be one to take a look at.

Rare 1949 Willys Jeepster. Ford 200 6, 3 speed with overdrive. Super straight, solid and complete. (Minus the top.) No rust ! It was in a barn stored since the late 80s. I cleaned it up, sorted, tuned, sanded and primed. It runs and drives surprisingly very well. It’s old, not fast and may need tinkering etc. However, engine runs great, (Was supposedly rebuilt) good clutch, brakes, lights/ wiring etc. There is a chatter in reverse I’ve yet to address but overall its in very good shape. With minimal work this will be nice. Fixed up these sell in the 20k range so I know it’s priced very fairly. Cool classic. Yes, I have title/ paperwork. Always consider offers and trades but cash is preferred.
Has a winch on the front, looks like you can tow this one home!

Complete project. Mostly original. L-134 4 Cylinder. Runs but needs some Tlc from sitting. Has a new 6 volt battery. Sorry No Trades or part out. Clean colo title.
Good condition, no visible rust. Runs, drives, stops. Like a 75 year old classic. Stock except for 12 V conversion and presently running 16 inch wheels. Have owned it for about 10 years, driven or hauled to just a few local truck shows. Good NM title in my name. Heater, lights, wipers work.
Located in north west NM.
The Flathead V8 has lots of room to breathe with the custom vents in the hood, extended range fuel tank on the passenger side, this could be a pretty neat vehicle for someone’s farm, small race track on demo derby night to pull back some racers……

1948 Willy’s. What you see is what you get on this one. It’s pretty much all there but needs some work. It has a homemade boom in the bed that is pto driven. I have not tried to start it personally but it supposedly ran 10ish years ago. It has a clean/clear title.
