“Except for the battery all parts are there. Needs one new/used 31X10.5×15 tire too. Purchased it for a project but am moving from the country into the suburbs and don’t have a place for it. The original VIN plate is there and reads CJ2A 223340. Bought it from a gentleman that used it as a farm vehicle. Last time it was registered was in 1971. Would make for a great project or if you have the room, yard art. I really hate to part with it but it would be nice for someone to give it a life again.”
Eric shared this M-100 for sale. It still has its data plate.

“I have decided to thin the fleet a little and have my Strick M100 military trailer for sale. The trailer is very complete and included correct reflectors, correct taillights, rear corner handles, NOS M100 chassis harness and intervehicular cable, intervehicular cable box, M100 lunette, landing leg and functioning brake mechanism. I the only part that I think is still needed is one of the safety chain hooks. As far as condition, the floor is a little thin at the very front of the trailer, so I am also including a donor M100 floor that can be used to patch the front. Obviously, a tailgate was cut and my plans were to repair it and return it to stock condition. Sorry to have to part with it, since I had planned on keeping, but need to let it go. Looking for $1200 OBO.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
Needs some work. Given it has Oregon plates, it may need to be relicensed.
“48 Willy runs good but needs additional work or new home on a ranch. Has extra gearbox and rear end”

“1940s model Willys Jeep
Starts & runs good. The brakes need some minor work, and the front left tire has a slow leak. Aside from that, it is ready to go. There is no VIN number or title. We have owned the jeep for over 20 years.”
UPDATE: Still Available (and still the same $1999.99 price).
In the March 2015 Inaugural issue of The Dispatcher Magazine, Bob Westerman wrote an article about Willys-Overland’s test of an Allison Transmission in an M-38 and the failure of that transmission to meet the needs of the military. The document below depicts WO’s effort to follow up that test with a second test, using M-38A1s and a slightly more robust automatic transmission. though improved, this transmission still did not meet the needs of the military, as the below report highlights.
UPDATE II: This brochure is reminiscent of the Argentina jeep pickup, though this one looks much more CJ-5ish. This is currently on eBay.
UPDATE: Maury found a couple related photos. That top looks kind of similar to one of the DJ-3A tops I’ve seen in pics. Nice half doors, too.
