This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Steve shared this swamp buggy racing video. At the 3:17 mark are some flat fenders, but they are quite a bit slower than those specially built buggies.

“Looking to sell my 1957 FC150. It’s sitting on a 1997 Jeep Wrangler chassis. It has the 4.0 and automatic transmission (32rh). It has power steering, and power 4-wheel disc brakes. The rear end is an 8.8 out of an explorer. The radiator is located between the bed and cab. It runs and drives pretty good. It will go 65 down the highway. It’s not “finished”, but I’ve been driving it all summer. I have a spare windshield, matching spare tire (no wheel) and hubcap. I would consider partial trade toward other Jeep vehicles. Will entertain offers.”

John shared this Surrey that has been sprayed with a lighter coat of paint. I discovered I have pics of this from at least a decade ago that were part of Bruce Agan’s archives, so it’s been this color for a while.
