This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It doesn’t run, but appears to have potential.
“Up for sale is a non running 1957 cj5.
Have 2 motors with parts. It did run awhile ago my grandpa bought it for deer hunting. It was a military surplus jeep. It was sitting in a barn for 15 years and the motor got stuck. Tore that motor apart and it needs to be rebuildt. Bought another motor which welded a bearing so that motor needs work to. I have both of the heads as well as one clean good block which were all gone through by an engine rebuilder and are good to go. Also have a rebuilt starter and a new gasket set as well as new spark plugs. Both motors ran at one point I have all the parts that I took off. I also have a tow bar, and other various parts as well as the title.”

“Got the Jeep as a project but have a new baby and have to get rid of some stuff. Everything’s there disassembled and organized. Transmission needs a rebuild kit and engine needs to be rebuilt.
