1964 Jeep Willys Wagon $8,000 Colorado Springs, CO
UPDATE: 5/30/2026 This had a new ad and link and says it is available, originally posted in Feb of ’26 for same price listed. I don’t really check Contact info to see if it is the same folks or just never sold back then, the original Ad is down. Have another look at this one.
230 OHC Wagon, also has optional trailer. Needs some work but might clean up here. I feel this would be a later ’63 MFG date if you were to run the SN down on the various charts, the 230 while still early it is a much later number on the Dealer card. But when it comes to the exact year it kinda is whats on the Title you can get through the local DMV/MVC.
• Air Cleaner Present
• Horns look legit
• Dual Aux Gauges
• Interior looks very complete
• Radio
• Trim present
• Dealer Card present, which is cool.
• SN: 51478 – 14545
• Engine: TW60C21872
• Data Plate looks legit
• Very typical rust spots for a Wagon

Willys 230_OHC Tornado Powertrain
$850 OBO Clinton MS
230 Up for grabs, early ’62 it says, would need some numbers off the unit to confirm. Some of these early ones are in need of some upticks. Recently I was able to compile all of the TSB that we gathered for the 230 into a nice document it was a really fun project getting those refreshed into a new format. It’s up on OWF you can search the tag 230_OHC and you will see most of my stuff over there related to the Tornado, so many knowledgeable folks over there have shared a ton of stuff with me very thankful.
I have too many of these around 12 or 13, so there is some value here, it does retain the original Air Cleaner, I had so many of those I was able to actually pay it forward and donate one to a really cool build. Then found homes for the rest, I have enough for my driving rigs.
But this actually retains the original bracket those I have never had an original but Tim out in CA was nice to hand make one for me from his and have that.
There are some very specific code words you will need to learn to get access to this one.
INFORMATION FROM SELLER:
Jeep 230 Tornado engine with 3 speed transmission and rebuilt Dana 18 transfer case pulled from a 1962 Willys Wagon.
Running when removed. Has a rebuilt Holley 2-barrel carburetor. Compression is good on all cylinders except one (has been sitting 20+ years). Fair condition overall — good core for rebuild or project.
Before replying, please read this:
I’m getting lots of fake/bot messages on here lately. To show you’re a real local buyer:
1. Tell me specifically what you plan to use it for (jeep project, parts, rebuild, etc.).
2. Include the code phrase “Clinton Tornado guy” at the end of your message.
3. Mention when you could come pick it up (I’m usually free weekends).
I will ignore “Is it still available?”, short replies, or anyone who jumps straight to asking for my phone/email without answering the above.
Local cash buyers only in the Clinton area. No shipping, no trades, no out-of-state deals. Price is $600 firm but open to reasonable offers from serious folks.
More pics available upon real inquiry. Come check it out in person.
Thanks,
Wayne

Bantam Trailer Ad’s 1946
I ran across a few of these Bantam ads for the smaller Trailers.
2-28-1946 Jeep_Bantam_Ad_MI

4-8-1946 BantamTrailer_Ad_NJ

6-23-1946 BantamTrailer_Ad_NJ

6-14-1946 BantamTrailerAd_MI

4-21-1946 BantamTrailer_Ad_TX

They even look like they were making very large Trailers for Trucks and this was a cool Ad for those.
