About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Those rear lights with the words “Stop” in them are vintage cool. Less cool are the electrical receptacles in back.

“Spanish jeep viasa CJ3B. Perkins diesel 4-108 engine. Everything works perfectly and runs strong. Just had everything lubed, flushed, checked and even replaced the gas tank. Brought this beauty from Spain w me and it is a ton of fun to drive around. There are a few rips in the seats as you can see in the pics but it is strictly cosmetic.”
“1946 Willys-Overland Jeep CJ-2A
One owner since 1966. Restored in 1975. Stock original survivor. Carefully used and well maintained. Always stored indoors, no rust, no dents.
This Jeep is equipped with a KOENIG “King” power take off winch with an 8,000 pound capacity. It is also fitted with DUALMATIC Locking Hubs, a ROLL BAR and an accessory rear mounted spare tire carrier. There is NO top.
Recent work:
5 new, 6.00-16 NDT tires on original Kelsey Hayes rims with a fresh powder coated finish. Also, all new brake cylinders and DOT 5 fluid, flushed fuel system, tune-up and timing chain. All fresh running gear lubricants installed along with new hoses, belts and fuel pump. Brakes and clutch work well. There are NO windshield wipers. Factory Tech Manual is included.
Compression is strong. Oil pressure is about 25 psi at idle and jumps to 40+ when accelerated. Gauges, lights, horn all work and there are no steering issues. Upholstery on driver and passenger seat are in excellent condition as is the rear seat except for 3 small (3/8″)punctures. This Jeep starts quickly, runs and drives well. It’s a true classic with all the right classic accessories
Here is your chance to have a nice old Jeep with mild patina that you can enjoy and drive. Or, it could be a remarkably straight, rust free, start for you own restoration project.
AS-IS, no warranty. Clear CA Title, currently non-op status.”

(06/23/2018) Palisade is near Grand Junction, so the body may be in very good shape still.
“This is a life-long western Colorado automobile. It spent most of its life in Palisade on a peach orchard. There is very little rust.
It has an excellent, professionally built L134 flat-head “Go-Devil” engine with correct carburetor, air filter and original 6V electrical system. The brakes are all new including the brake lines, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. The exhaust system is also all brand new. The seats are redone with the correct springs and covers.
This is a very good candidate for a full restoration, or to bump around the mountains in something with character.”
(06/21/2018) Apparently, this was a mail jeep. It’s got a top that fits it (CJ-6 top perhaps?). It runs, it drives, and is a bit different.
“1946 Willys cj2a has had lots of new parts on it over the past couple years new brakes rebuilt carburetor rebuilt generator(still on 6 volts), new tires inner tubes and powder coated wheels I know I’m going to forget alot of stuff. The only issues that I had with it are that it leaks and burns oil. So no long distance trips with it. It does run it does Drive and the 4 wheel drive works. High and low. I know I’ve spent more than $2,000 in Parts on it, for instance the wheels and tires alone where a thousand plus almost $800 for the brake system. master cylinder and all, just to name a few. It’s not pretty but it works. I’m looking to get $3,500 for it CASH only. Price is negotiable slightly. Thanks and there’s one thing I forgot to mention it used to be a mail truck back in the day and I do have the steel top that was originally on it. That’s why the body is extended about 12 inches in the back.”
