“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A,
flat head 4 cylinder engine- runs good
3 speed transmission
2 speed transfer case
5:38 gears
Axels from a ’67 cj5 so stronger 44 rear and 27 front
Ugraded steering box, I think it is a Ford box with one piece tie-rod upgrade
Has front hubs
Has a roll bar and front push bar with winch mount
Wired 12 volt and has a new battery
The jeep runs , drives ,stops and all the lights work. Has a clear open title.
The bad:
Engine leaks oil
Transmission will kick out of second gear when you get off the throttle
It was wrecked in the passenger rear at one time
It has rust in several places
Windshield has plexiglass
I think it needs a radiator cap, antifreeze is coming out the over flow but it isn’t hot.
Tires are dried out’
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1895.
(02/02/2017) Runs and drives.
“1946 JEEP CJ2A

Not clear how much value is here.
“I have a project Willys jeep with a ford straight 6 in it. Doesn’t have a hard top but does have the front windshield (removed in photos) this was brought from Colorado a couple years ago with title. Willing to trade for a running jeep or truck or possible 4×4. If you have something else feel free to offer and I’ll let you know. Cash is king and this is available to come look at.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
(10/28/2016) Lots of padding in the back.
“Hello I am selling my 1942 Ford Jeep built for the military. The body has 39k miles on it and the 283 v8 motor is freshly rebuilt with less than 1k miles on it. Starts and drives great. Comes with plow and plow mount, soft top that detaches and an extra set of tires. Manuel transmission that shifts great and the body Is in great condition as well”
Guy happened upon a photo of an FJ-3 while looking at the Internet Movie Car Database. This movie features a variety of vehicles. You can view all the cars from the movie here.

“Runs and drives great. Under 1,000 miles on overhauled original flat 4 cylinder. All original.”

“1953 Willy’s M38A1 1/4 Ton 4 x 4 Jeep. Serial # 44613. Mileage reads 38,117. Powered by the original Hurricane 4 cylinder F-Head gas engine. 3 speed manual transmission, 2 speed transfer case and 2 or 4 wheel drive. This M38A1 starts very easily and runs, drives and stops good. The body is in good solid shape with some imperfections (see photos). All lights, gauges and turn signals work. Overall this is a nice old Army Jeep.”
Craig spotted this one. He thinks he’s seen it at a past Willys Picnic.
“This a running and driving truck. Has a factory add on dump bed. Original drive train and fun truck. As any truck of this age it needs some work but not a complete rust bucket like most. Brand new tires. Clean title. No Trades.”
