About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(10/07/2015) Needs some body work, but still looks like a good price.

“1951 willys cj3a I have been restoring. Has brand new paint on an all original mint steel body. No bondo. Body and paint done by Brian’s 4wd in Ct. Chassis and driveline are 100%. Pto, warn overdrive. Lots invested. Needs final assembly. Illness forces sale. I cannot finish this so it must go. It is a once in a lifetime find. If this is what you are into….you found her… Chris
It was painted Luzon red as it was from factory. Rare 15″ wheel option. Been on my block since it was new.”
This article from the December 1955 Jeep News shares the growth of Bosemer Plumbing and its use of two different Jeep-A-Trenches. Note the serial number of the very early trencher: 11C-915. I never would have guess that was one of the first ones ever built!
“1957 Willys CJ3B High Hood Jeep

“Rebuilt motor at 34542 miles, brake cyl lines and shoes at the time the motor was done (apx 6 yrs ago) older rust repair still in good shape. The jeep is solid and is driven several times a week during the summer. Use as is or it is the perfect base for a restore. Front bumper ears have been strengthen/repaired for a plow at some point
Has a cracked exhaust manifold so it makes a little noise. Needs tires and u joint work on the front end (makes some noise in 4wd) also occasionally pops out of 2nd gear.”
“For sale- 1946 CJ-2A Willys Jeep
Starts and drives great for a 70 year old jeep.
Motor was rebuilt in 2011, brakes and transmission work well. Lights, blinkers, brake lights and running lights work good. Licence plates good to 9/16. Tires are in good shape. Motor is strong and starts easy. Four wheel drive works(high and low). Planned to do a body off rebuild , just don’t have the time. Also has an aluminum top. Can send you pics if you want to see something or have a question. ”
(08/22/2012) This has been modded a bit. Does not run.
“1943 FORD JEEP. NOT RUNNING. HAS A STUDEBAKER 6 CYLINDER OVERHEAD VALVE ENGINE. HAS A PAIR OF CAMARO FRONT SEATS. SOME RUST. LOOKS LIKE IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL MILITARY SPARE TIRE. GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM SAID IT WAS A 1943. I DON’T HAVE A TITLE. SO IT MAY BE A 1942, 1944 OR 1945. IT IS NOT THE “FORD SCRIPT” JEEP OF 1941. HAS SOME RUST, SEE PICTURES. UP TO 90 DAYS FREE INSIDE STORAGE FOR BUYER”
Seller has listed this at $10,000, but also suggest you make an offer. Appears to have some mods.
“1943 Willys MB in pretty good shape for the age. Runs and drives. Mostly original but not 100%. Has combat wheels and good tires. LOTS of spare parts. Clean KS title. Make Offer.”
“This Jeep gets looks! The body is a 1946 Willys and sits on a S-10 frame. Currently has a GM 350 With a TH 350 trans. The transmission has recently been totally professionally rebuilt with a warranty. Unfortunately last time I drove it the oil pressure dropped and the engine has suffered. I don’t know the extent of the damage to the engine but it won’t start. It does turn over but the engine needs work or replaced. It’s not hard to find a 350 to put in it. Lots of room for any size of engine. There are a few extras like the roll cage with lights, bull horn, 30mm shell shifter, locking gas tank, and Army ammo can storage. The whole front end has new parts like the gear box, upper and lower ball joints, idle arm, and tie rods. This jeep needs to go to someone that loves her. She is easy to work on with the S-10 frame. Comes with a tow bar that hooks to the bumper. It’s ready for you to take home!”
