About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
I really don’t know what the seller is saying … can anyone translate? No pics provided.
“Selling my willys jeep know what I’m saying? I brought it back with me from Nam its been there for me when it gets ruff ruff like my dawg namean? It has. Buick 231 and edlebrock Carb turbo 350 and serious off road meats. I’m headin out west and would like $5,000 and two mules know what I’m saying.”
The April 1955 issue of Willys News published this photo. It’s a tour jeep truck for the Africa. It seems a little too open to me. Those lions look like they could easily leap inside.

“1949 CJ3A Willys Jeep. Hard original Konig top. This jeep has mechanically been gone through from top to bottom. Has locking hubs, newly upholstered original seats, great tires, 12,000 pound Ramsey Winch, and much more.”
“I am listing my 1946 Willys CJ2A for sale. This is a daily driver and not a show piece. The transmission and transfer case were just rebuilt. All of the brake components have been replaced over the past few years. The Jeep has been upgraded to 12 volts with a GM alternator. The seat bottoms have been replaced. I have a black soft top, eight of the older narrow wheels, and a few transmissions and transfer cases that will be included with sale. I am selling the Jeep as I don’t have time to use and enjoy it anymore. Restore it or drive it as is. Bill of sale only.”
