Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Dan spotted this truck. Looks pretty solid for an old Arkansas vehicle.
“1963 Willy’s Jeep Gladiator Pick up, pretty rare, solid old truck. Has the 230 tornado overhead cam straight 6 cylinder, 3 speed on column, 4 X 4 works good, clean interior, good body with older amateur paint job, new 10 ply tires, new brakes, all new gauges, it’s a J-300 heavy duty truck with 8 foot bed. Runs and drives and would take very little to be a daily driver. May take trades, but if yours is not worth more than $4250 in the REAL WORLD, please be ready to add cash or don’t waste my tim”
Motor is stuck. Seller is also selling the trailer for $400.
“Motor is stuck from sitting. Transmission and transfer case are not stuck. Body is solid but has lots of patches and some bondo.
This would be a good project with a motor swap. Sold with bill of sale only but can register and convey with current registration at buyer’s expense (Generally less than $100 including the insurance required to do so).”

Rodney’s selling this trailer. Looks like it has potential.
“Selling a civilian Bantam T3-C trailer. The trailer is usable as-is or can be restored close to original. The paint has peeled and trailer has lots of surface rust. Some heavily rusted areas might need patching. Overall, the floor is solid. It has the 1-7/8 Fulton coupler and the original front leg support. Chains are all there but could use de-rusting. I had to have new tires installed on the trailer in order to pull it home. Tires have less than 70 miles on them. Tail light wiring are there but I have not tested them. The tail lights seem to have been replaced by the previous owner. The rest of the trailer seem to be original. The trailer has the pockets for the bows.
Data plate is gone. Don’t know what year it is but looks like a later model. No title or registration. Will be sold with a Bill of Sale. Original California license plate is still attached. I’m not sure what needs to be done to get the trailer titled and registered. Perhaps the license plate can help track the original records.”

The first one (digital artwork) is a commissioned order cartoon for a customer at Quebec, Canada. It depicts a Canadian made Willys M38 jeep and his owner at the wheel (with his wife at co driver seat). This was offered as a birthday gift by a friend of him.
The second one, hand painted, is another Willys M38 jeep. This one was ordered by a customer at South Dakota. You could see the Mount Rushmore at background plus some details (birds, etc.) at the background. The customer appears at the wheel of his jeep with all his family.
And the third one (in black and white, also hand painted) was ordered as a birthday gift by a German customer and it was offered to his girlfriend. Both of them appear as his jeep and as background I draw a typical old French street.

“I have a 72 Jeep CJ 6 for sale. Runs drives, 4×4 works. Will post pictures later. As you all know these Jeeps hold their value. When is the last time you saw a CJ6?? Have you ever? Same thing as a Cj5 except it is 20 inches longer. 258 CID manual tranny. Son in law off work for 4 months due to operation. Have to get rid of some of the toys. No text.”
