Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This was just listed over at jeeptruck.com. I think the seller is a little optimistic about the price. I’m wondering if he has a title, since he isn’t sure about the year or model.
“I have restored it about 70% and I think it is a FC170DRW year 1962. I think I have the very last one. It is a stub nose dual wheeled truck. I have pictures during the restore of the body and interior. The engine and transmission are the original. It has 43000 miles on it and runs good.”

Given the Koenig? half cab, there looks to be value here. Lots of body rust, too.

It’s a project.
“Time for second owner for this vintage 1950 Willys Jeep that we used in the orchard, on the farm and for hunting in the Columbia Gorge. This Jeep was purchased new in 1950 by my parents. It has a paltry 19,000 miles on it. It would be a great restoration project! The engine is non-operational and needs to be rebuilt but nothing is frozen.”
