This article from the January 1968 issue of Willys News shared news from the 1958 Chicago auto show. To the left is a rare photo of Willys’ Economy Delivery Truck. Here are other photos from past Chicago shows related to jeeps. And this one from the 1959 show.
A reader found this on Google Chat. Maybe someone who readers eWillys knows something about this?

“I (Steve Noland) have tried several other forums with no luck. I am trying to find the current owner of an FC I sold years ago. I am posting a link to the page where it was later sold. I contacted John to get the buyers info but he did not have it on record. My purpose it to get the CLEAN, OPEN title to the current owner. I have no interest in this truck, I just want to get the papers into the right hands and maybe provide some vehicle history to the current owner.
Thanks in advance for your help.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $9995. I’m wondering if the seller meant $19995? At $9995 this looks like a great price.
Nice looking wagon.
“1947 Willys – Show Car/Collector piece, Maverick rear end, Mustang 2 front end, Buick motor, digital dash, $21,000 or best offer ”

“1947 Willys Jeep. Very good condition with minor surface rust (Patina). Original condition with only newer style wheels and seat covers changed. Motor rebuilt 2000 miles ago runs like a top. Good Willys for restoration or just a nice driver. Price Firm compared to the junk out there for 2500.”
It has a fiberglass body. Has some extraneous diamond plate. Gas tank has been moved to the rear, along with the filler.
“1948 Willys Jeep. orginal frame, trans.rear end. Has a V-6 buick engine-fiber glass C3 body. Looks nice and runs good. Needs new brake shoes. “’47 Willys CJ2A for sale. Restored by the previous owner, this Jeep is a nice little runabout with some flair. I bought it from a Navy man who painted it in the livery of the ship on which he served and used it at one of their reunions for rides and a photo shoot. If you are not into naval history, the markings are all vinyl and could be peeled off. The frame was stripped and blasted, then treated with a preservative paint for auto frames. The fiberglass body is, of course, impervious to rust, but the tailgate and grill are original. The Jeep has a newer BesTop, made in the USA. The tires were new Firestones installed with the resto and now have less than 600 miles on them.
