This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 Willy’s Jeep 4WD. Kept and used @ hunting camp only. Kept under leantoo for years. Brought home to restore but lost interest. Runs GREAT. I made a list of most items needed to restore, ordered and received. All still in boxes. (wiper blade, wiper motor, turn signal switch and harness, top, etc)
Sent to repair shop and had new master and wheel cylinders installed for breakes, tuned up and new battery.
Jeep needs TLC and a home and I need to recover some of my cost. Have original paperwork.”

(01/04/2015) Needs plenty of work.
“The sale was not completed on this Jeep so it is being relisted . This is a 1945 Willys CJ2A vin#11752 I have all 5 correct data tags. This is a project or parts vehicle . The body is repairable but will need front and rear floor work. The engine does not run it has a cracked valve guide and the head was removed at some point. I do have a running engine that can be negotiated in the price. This is a column shift jeep and all components come with the it. The front frame on the passengers side is rusted near the crossover tube but can be repaired. This is a VEC Jeep which are very hard to find and condition dictates the price other wise it would be well over $7000.00 . This Jeep will be sold with bill of sale and the asking price is $1500.00 if interested please call”
