About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
There’s lots of comic books and military items at this auction. The lot of Willys brochures looks interesting, especially that Willys Export Vehicle Program brochure.
“Military, Comics, Coin and Ephemera Auction

HARRIS BROS. AUCTIONS
G-4150 VAN SLYKE RD.
FLINT, MI 48507”
This may run. The outside looks very solid, but the rear floor definitely has rust. A very stock 3A.
“1950 CJ3A Willys Jeep project. I bought it an estate auction last year and haven’t done anything with it so I’ve decided to sell. It’s all original and needs restoration. It was running when parked but the previous owner ran into health problems so it sat for several years and as a result it needs new fuel system, etc. The motor does turn over and I was told it was started last summer. I have the windshield frame. Please look at the pictures then if you’re interested, click the reply button above to call, text, or email for more information.”
(09/20/2015) Looks nice, though there’s some wear on the floors.
“For sale. 1954 CJ3B Jeep. Nice condition. Brake system recently rebuilt-new lines, drums, and master cylinder. Windshield frame seal replaced and new horn wiring. Many overhauled components and replaced parts. Little rust. Always hangered. Transmission shifts great, doesn’t pop out of gear. Hi/Low/2wd/4wd all work great.”
(06/20/2015) Probably not much more than a plow jeep without additional work.
“Body has some rust, frame has no rot at all. Replaced most brake lines last summer, has new plugs wires, distributor, new updated solex carb, belts oil and filter. Comes with manual plow, great plow truck for medium to large driveways. Bill of sale only”
“Planned to make this a winter project, but I will be moving out of my house in the next month and it needs to go. Needs an engine. Has all parts for transmission. Frame is rusted in a few areas. No title.”
It’s a project. Seller is convinced it is rare, so it must be worth a lot. Has non stock engine.
“I’m selling this rare Jeep Willy CJ-a because my father has pancreatic cancer with only two months left to live. We’ve been treating it as an amazing project, but as you can see, it isn’t finished.
It runs well. It needs general check-up, brake shoes, wipers, and fuel float. Other parts are in excellent to good condition. However, the motor isn’t true to the vehicle itself – It is a 1974 Ford Mustang Pinto’s engine. This is compatible and runs well.
Depending on your tastes, it might need to be repainted and a new cover. The selling price is $7,500 OBO. We will accept best offers but, please do try to not low-ball us. We are aware of how rare it is. It will come with two Jeep Willy CJ-a manuals.”
