About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

I may be able to find the book that goes with it. Buy it as it is—no other info regarding this vehicle is available. am willing to work on a solid offer.
PLEASE NOTE:THIS WOULD NOT LET ME GO TO
PAGE WITHOUT PUTTING IN PARTS/SALVAGE/CLEAN
ETC.—–I am not saying this is clean—this is an old vehicle—
it is what it is. old.”
(05/10/2014) The truck looks good. It is listed as being in Laguna Beach, but it is listed in the Reno Craigslist. Maybe the owner lives in Laguna, but the truck is located in the Reno area?
“1957 Jeep Willy’s flatbed truck. Excellent condition, original straight 6 cylinder engine. 3 speed. Runs great! I have had this Jeep for over twenty years and it’s always been dependable…loved it! If you are interested, please call (not email) “
James forwarded this gem of an ad. Looks like there are military and civilian jeeps for sale here.
“I recently purchased an estate of Willy’s CJ Jeeps and Parts, and I think I am ready to see if anyone needs parts or project vehicles. Mostly vintage with many early Willy’s CJ2A’s in complete condition and various stages. I have tubs also, some even bead blasted and ready to go. Looks like a fair amount of CJ5 and possibly early CJ7 as well. Look at the photos, that will give you an idea, most of the vehicles with wheels have complete drive trains. There are many loose front ends, rear ends, transmissions, and engine parts, as well as body parts.”
Lawrence, his whippets, his whippet and his FC made the Vancouver Sun on Friday. Alyn Edwards produced a great article about Lawrence. You can read the entire article online and see more facts here:
Ann and I and my boys are camping near Lake Stevens for a day and then will be up at Deception Pass for a couple days. I expect updates will be spotty, but I’ve got a few things to read for Sunday.
I authored an article for Mark Smith’s War Jeeps site on five major trips undertaken with a Ford GPA Seep. It was a fun article to write. During my research I learned that Helen Schreider is still alive and living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. There’s a producer working on a film about her. The producer volunteered to ask her some questions I composed, but I’ve yet to hear back form them.
Tim Evans and his son Kyle attended the MBPA convention recently. This year it was held in Louisville, Kentucky. They had a great time. Tim forwarded a few photos. If you want to view more photos, check out this link http://bensimage.smugmug.com/Events/MVPA-2014/
