About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

AdvertIsed as a 1942 GPW, I don’t see any 1942 or GPW in this build.

Sure it’s a little rough, but it runs and has hurricane rims. It just doesn’t stop well.
“1956 Willy’s CJ3B Jeep, runs great, smokes a little. Has not been on the road in years… Used as a hunting rig on the farm. Starts right up and shifts good. I don’t think you could hang this thing up. Will go anywhere. I got a side by side and just haven’t needed the jeep so I thought maybe someone else could use it. Needs brake work. they worked last year but got it out yesterday and pedal goes to the floor. Cant be much wrong with them. Call me if interested. $1500”
Looks like some rot near the front fender. Probably hasn’t run in a while.

“For sale or trade 1946 willys a great project to either restore or make a rock crawler. No motor or transmission it’s a little rough. But all in all a really cool toy. 1500 obo.”
“I have for sale a 1948 Willy’s Jeep. Painted Camo, has all original everything. Runs good. Has been sitting for awhile. This was my dads retirement project to restore. But he passed away in Decemeber and we have decided to sell it. Please call or text me for pics. We are asking 4,000.00 OBO. THANKS!”
“This Jeep has been around in the family for years, has originals parts but outer body needs some work. Definitely a restoration project I would think, but everything still there. Is 4 wheel drive. It has 2-5 Gallon Gas Cans, Front mounted Winch, Soft cover with doors, Dual Gas Tanks, Oversize radiator, Center Mount double rifle Rack and Front row bar in and hitch in rear This would be great for someone who loves these kind of cars because they are collectibles. Has awesome engine, 327 bored over to 331, compression pistons 10 1/2 to 1, 8 cylinders, has hot rod engine, The jeep is mechanically sound. Low, low gears for climbing. It has been sitting for years, so it will need some work to start it up I would think. The drive frame is fine, engine frame, axle, etc. are all good. $2500”
“1947 Willys Jeep rolling chassis. No motor, trans, transfercase. Offset dana 44 rear, dana 25 front, 11″ brakes all around, swing pedals, full cage, tow bar. Comes with another frame cleaned up and ready to build (Old one has seen better days.) Also have CJ3A windsheild for it with good glass. $950 obo.”
“1942 ford jeep, you don’t see many of these around anymore. It’s fun to have but don’t have time for it. It has a flat head 4 cylinder. It will run and idle for a little bit and then die. The fuel cell has some rust in it that clogs the lines. It would be a fun little project for someone. Comes with a roll bar that was made for it and a hard top. Thanks for looking.”
