Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is an unrestored 1957 3B has some rust on R side 1/4 panel and where spare tire mount is located. floor pan and cross members there is no rust. Vehicle runs and drive great 4 X 4 works perfect. 3 holes in dash where radio and 2 gauges were mounted. Vehicle has new wiring harness installed and single wire alternator. Also has a gear reduction starter. Body has various dents and scratches. I recently had seat reupholstered. Vehicle has a clean Colorado title”

“I took this Jeep as a trade and am looking to move it. Runs and drives, it has a Buick V6 with fender well headers and new mufflers. Brand new tires & rims. Tires have been balanced. New rear shocks. New windshield and seal. New master cylinder (needs to be bled out for brakes to work). I have the New York State registration for transfer of non titled vehicle paperwork filled out from previous owner.”

seats, front, back, and I even bought another set so I have two sets of seats,
I also have a set of jeep tires besides the ones on there that goes with it. I just don’t
have the time to restore it, and personally I lost all ambition to do it. I would like to
see if someone out there can restore this beautiful car, no rust on body, excellent body

It’s a project.
“So as much as I don’t want to, I think I may sell my project. Iv got a 8 month old baby girl and a demanding work schedule. Frame up jeep project just is not top priority at the moment.. Iv got 2 body’s 2 frames one is a roller. 2 hoods 2 sets of fenders a mb grill and a 2a grill a sears half cab motor is a 1964 Buick v6 with advanced adapters adapter to a 6cyl 3spd and Dana 18. New brake lines 2sets of springs new datstar shackles 3 windshields. Two 3a one with glass and a 2a with glass. And forgetting stuff im sure. Jeep is taken apart, but complete minus motor mounts. ”

“willys cj-3A jeep, i believe its a 50 or 51, lots of original parts, ran when it was parked some years ago, oil in crankcase is clean, body is rough. no title. has winch on the front.
just dont have the time to restore it. ”

“Willys steel cab jeep with PTO. Driveshaft included. Winch missing. 200 miles on major engine overhaul. Four speed. Tow bar. Great machine. Hate to part with it. Needs a passenger side window. Extra back seat included.
Newer tires. Extra old tires with rims.”
