This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (03/23/2015) Has an unusual bumper.
“For sale is a 1948 Jeep Willy Cj2a. It is 98% original parts. It comes with original 4 cylinder engine with 3 speed manual transmission. 4 wheel drive with manual locking hubs. All gauges work. New master cylinder, and new brakes all around. Comes with 9000lbs rated wench and CB Radio. Also has to tow hooks in the back. Registered in Florida with clean title.”

“Notes: Willy’s Overland Motors. 1943. Very Good paperback. Clean, unmarked. No names or inscriptions. Blue pictorial cover with Red and white lettering and pictorial design. Edge wear to spine. No creases. Corners are lightly bumped. Top, side and lower portion of cover are faded approximately one inch. No chips, tears, water marks or stains.

Issued after the first national “Buy a Jeep Campaign” led by the US Treasury Department through the nation’s schools raised enough to purchase 50,000 Jeeps for the War. UPDATE: Jeep and trencher sold. Well pulling equipment still available.
“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep with working Jeep-a-Trench option and well pulling option. Can trench about 6 feet down.
— Jeep runs well but engine does smoke… a lot out the exhaust.
— Jeep drives and shifts through the gears fine.
— No brakes
— No glass in windshield
— Fuel pump doesn’t work so currently running off a gravity feed bottle.
— Not much rust on body
— battery tray is rusted out. battery must have leaked at one point.
— Has a clean title

I’m sure I forgot a few things but you get the idea. Title and registration current and in hand. Asking 12,500 obo if you have any questions please call me.”

“Amazing 1952 Willys CJ3A for sale. I bought this from the gentleman who restored it in California and have enjoyed it for the last year. Original California Jeep. I’ve owned three Willys Jeep’s and researched them for years and this is the nicest I have ever seen. It runs and drives great, no issues. Manual 3 speed, 4 cylinder. Jeep has PTO drive and period correct Ramsey winch with belt drive extension (rear mounted for farm implements etc.). Top is in perfect condition. Neat period correct fire extinguisher mounted on front bumper. Electric windshield wipers. Front seat belts. Come see to appreciate!
