“This ‘ol girl has a Buick 231ci V6 swap with a TH350 with shift kit behind it mating, via AdvanceAdapters hardware, to the stock Dana 18 transfer case. Both motor and tranny are freshly rebuilt with less than 500 miles on either. It has not been a daily driver. Paint is about 2 years old, needs some touch up. There’s tinkering to be done here and there but she’s a real good ‘ol Jeep. Tires are brand new 35/12.5/15 Goodyear MTR Kevlar with zero wear.”
Gerald Colletz spotted this CJ-2A at the Alaska Aviation Museum and submitted it to Four Wheeler Magazine. Check out all the photos here: http://www.fourwheeler.com/how-to/tech-qa/1501-your-jeep-january-2015/
Here’s another look from the front of the jeep. This photo was taken a few years ago when it was inside.

Ron Day found this old photo he took showing a group of spectators and their vehicles at a race sponsored by the Jeep Jockeys Jeep Club sometime in the late 1970’s or early 80’s. This is west of Yakima, Washington near the small community of Tampico.
Here’s an odd vintage photo.
“Original Vintage Snapshot Photo 3 Soldier Men w/ Photobooth Jeep circa 1950s Size is 3×4″ inches.”
