Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. No full floating hubs and not an early windshield, so I doubt this is a 1945. It could be fairly early ’46.
“This is a rare 1945 Willys CJ2-A. The vehicle is in need of a full restoration. Engine turns over and will start just needs to be tuned up. I have it in Summerville sc, just posting it out there to see what I can get for it! Text me and make me an offer”

“I have a mid 40s jeep willy I beleave its a1945 its only 2wd its got a motor and trans out of a pinto and the front coil spring suspension with pwr disk brakes rack and Pinyin steering this thing runs and drives great starts up with just a tap of the switch i may have it all painted army green this weekend it could make a really cool rat rod or just a toy not really wanting to get rid of it but just seeing what’s out there will sell for $1500 firm will not take any less or trade I have seen them on here in pieces for that much just call or text me if u want to know more”

“1973 MAIL JEEP. Many new parts including braking system. Have new gas tank that goes with, but not installed. Can be used on route or would be a cool project for restoration. Bought a new JEEP so no longer needed. Asking $1500, will entertain offers.”

Looks like it might be a good project.
“I am selling a CJ2A project . It is complete minus the motor and radiator. I have an original flathead motor and radiator if needed. This jeep is mostly original with minor alterations. The frame was broken in the front just forward of the shock mounts. I have a good replacement frame that goes with the jeep. I have a clean title and the reg is on non-op call”

The tub sure looks solid. I’m surprised this was removed from the jeep is was on.
“mid 1946 tub, fenders,radiator guard, hood, wind shield– original harvard red paint, no dents ,super hard to find in this condition, what would you rather have to restore your willys? a near perfect all orignal as this, or an MD JUAN, made in the Philipines repo that never fit right , look right, not to mention all the time you will waste in adjustments.”

“november 1941 ww2 willy mb jeep rolling chassis..early frame # 100838 for slat grill jeep…..has incorrect motor (stuck), tranny, t.c…they are from an m38….$1000….also have a later (1944) complete mb body…(tub, fenders,hood, grill) and ford script gpw body…might sell one of the bodies with the chassis…inquire…vt is not a title state for older vehicles…sold with bill of sale…“
