Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This Willys wagon was built by an older couple to enjoy fishing. Maybe it is just the camera perspective, but it sure looks like there is plenty of room inside. “I have a Willys (1948??) CJ for sale, with no title nor VIN. Was on a farm for decades. Being sold as parts only. Perhaps to support your restoration, trail rig? Hunting truck or gosh knows what! Either way, I want it gone and need the space, hence the super low price. Cash only, not selling it off bit by bit, what you see is what you get. Does not run, needs to be towed.”
Seller knows very little about this GPW.
“This listing is for another one from the ” Someday Collection ” My boss bought this as a running driving vehicle about 15 years ago parked it inside and basically forgot about it. Drove it a few times the first year or 2 but it has sat since then. Jeep was bought from George Moore Truck & Equipment in Keeseville NY you can find them on the internet ( Georgemooretruck.com ) It was a restored jeep at some point before my boss bought it. I believe this is a World War II Willys Jeep. I couldn’t find a frame tag on it but it looks like the front frame horn on each side had extra metal welded into them. There is some loose paint on the body mostly on the right side. There has been body work done to it when it was restored all those years ago but still presents well in my opinion. Ran fine when parked drove fine too. We pulled it out for photos and will have it running and driving and ready for pick up. Here’s a great opportunity to breathe some new life into an old piece of American History. Great for parades displays etc. Not sure of the year or how to positively ID anything on it but I will do my best to answer any questions”

“The mod was originally done in the late 70’s and has been basically unchanged. Flat fender Bantam/Jeep placed on Subaru Brat.
Needs some work, was running less then 30 days ago, may have fuel/carburetor problems. Let’s talk, open to certain trades (tractor with bucket /Motorcycle)

“Always wanted a Flat Fender Jeep but they all seem to be rust buckets? Well here is your answer, this body will never rust. Reproduction of Jeep CJ3A body except better, complete with frame. More engine room, more leg room. Can’t seem to find the time to work on it so my failure is your good luck. All body parts necessary. Add your suspension and drive train and drive off in a head turner. I am also including a pair of bucket seats and a roll bar in this sale. I am also selling separately a running 1951 CJ3A that is set up for off road (been on the Jeep Jamboree twice 2002/2003). One plan was to mix the Jeep with the Stainless steel body but again never finding the time to do it! Body, Frame, Seats and Roll Bar only. Does not include tires, wheels, axle and springs show in one of the pictures”

Listed as a ’45, it looks more like a ’46.
“This is a rare 1945 Willys CJ2-A. The vehicle is in need of a full restoration. Engine turns over and will start just needs to be tuned up.”
