About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
David forwarded these images. He wrote, “Found some of my dads photos he took while stationed in Korea ……note the soldier standing outside the flatfender has a rifle pointed at the cameraman”
I especially like the photo of the kids leaning on the jeep. I can relate to doing that as a kid.
“I have a 1949 Willys on a CJ5 frame. The engine is a rebuilt Chev 350 (balanced) with an RV cam. New Edlebrock carb. Jacobs ingnition system. 4 row aluminum radiator. Headers with turbo mufflers. T18 4-speed with Dana20 transfer case. Dana 30 front axle, AMC20 Rear Axle both have new 4:10 gears and equipped with ARB (Air) lockers. Front axle has disc brakes, rear axle drum brakes and also has full floating lock out hubs(real nice for towing). Power steering & power brakes. Hydraulic clutch. Has competition seats with harness. Roll bar. Recent soft top in excellent condition. CB radio, Kenwood cassette stereo. 18 gallon gas tank in back and a 10 gallon tank under the drivers seat. Tire & gas can rack on the back. Highlift jack mounted on the front. Total mileage on this rig since rebuild is under 500 miles. The CJ5 frame provides excellent stabilty while still being small enough overall to wind your way through the narrowest of trails. This rig successfully traveled several black diamond trails around the Gorman Area and easily climbed the sand dunes in Pismo Beach both in Califonia. Highway legal. I just don’t seem to use it enough and I hate to see it sit. Possible trade all or part depending on what you have. I’m interested in boats, 4 stroke outboards, marine/fishing stuff, maybe something along the lines of an older Honda accord type of car.”

“1957 Jeep FC 150. Foreward cab, 4 wheel drive pick up with low and high speed T90 transmission. 12 forward gears. Engine is 4 cylinder flathead and has not been started and is not stuck.
Bucket seats and original carpet. needs to be re-upholstered. Cab has small rust spots on rain gutter and windshields but no sign of rusted thru. A magnet did not reveal any bondo patches in body.
A Ramsey 10,000 lb PTO winch is mounted on the front with tow bar.
Speedometer reads 358 miles, apparently is 100,358. Seller has good title.
Tires hold air but are 20 years old. Paint is 20 years old but buffs up good except on rust spots. An installation of an after market over drive will allow legal highway speeds.”
