About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
I’m not sure if that is paint or stickers on the side.
“1960 Jeep Willys CJ6 – Rare and unusual Jeep – we have owned this Jeep for over 20 years. It does everything – rock climbs and hill climbs. This is a special Jeep – my wife is making me sell it. 283 Chevy motor, 4 speed, stock axles,35 front, 27 rear”
“This is a 1948 CJ2A that had a new all steel replacement body put on it some thirty years ago. This body has NO RUST and never did. This body is a copy of the sought after M38 military Jeep. It is currently on the road. To many new parts to list. I do not negotiate price by email or over the phone. Please don’t ask if I will take less unless you have seen the Jeep and have the money ready to back your offer.”
It runs and drives. The steps have seen some repairs.
“Runs well. Flathead 4 cyl. engine, rebuilt transmission/clutch. Some spare parts. Tow bar. Have pink slip. Registered last in 1988. Vehicle has been sheltered and used a bit over 500 miles during the last 20 years. Buy it and drive it home. $1850 or best offer. Rob 707-272-8006.”
“1958 CJ5 partially restored and a 1955 CJ5 parts jeep with motor. Original title for 58 and no title for 55. 58 frame has been blasted/painted with new springs and ready for drive train. Two and three of all used parts and many new parts. Great project that I don’t time for right now. Please no offers, barters or trades. The price is cheap and FIRM and I will NOT sell parts.”

(08/30/2010) Here’s an unusual CJ.
“1946 WIllys CJ2A Jeep custom built. Chev V8, power steering, Rancho suspension, lockers, 5.38 gears, electric overdrive, 33″ new mud terrains, Warn 8,000 lb. winch, custom SS dash with full guages, heater, CB radio, AM/FM stero, Cooper removable top, half doors, and much more! This Jeep is for the serious Jeep builder and off roader only.”
Brett spotted this one. I like it. Fortunately, he wants to sell it to serious restorers.
“This is what’s known as a VEC (very early civilian) CJ2A vin 21766 and has many unique characteristics. It is column shift, has the tool indents in the side panel, and five solid rims. This is an extremely nice, very original example that was sitting in a storage container in the Nevada desert for years. Very straight, nearly rust-free body, original keyed coil, door sockets (and door frames), gauges, wheels, etc. Mileage shows 81,079. It would be considered a project vehicle as I never tried to get it running, but appears a relatively simple restoration. It rolls very easily, steering is tight, and I’d bet with a battery, gas, and TLC it would fire up. It’s missing a couple things and needs some repair, but is remarkable for a 65 year old vehicle. The previous owner began a “restoration” and painted the windshield frame and hood but they should be re-done correctly. Selling to put time and money into an earlier 2A recently acquired. Many more photos available. Serious, restoration inquiries only please. Title in hand. Thanks!”
The seller lists this as a ’52, but the grille, body, and fenders appear to be MB/GPW.
“52 jeep willy’s no motor has 3 speed trans set up for ford small block i also have seats and the tow stinger that are not shown in the pics you can email me thanks”
This includes 3 L-head motors. This might be a good price.
