Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (09/17/09) This is apart, though it’s unclear to me if it is completely apart.
“Up for grabs is this 1959 Jeep CJ3B. I bought it last year with plans to restore it but realised i don’t have the knowledge, time or $$! I took it apart with plans of sand blasting and repainting, but prior to that it ran pretty good. Clean title, renewed plates. Email for more info. Make me an offer, this jeep is a rare find!”

Here’s an unusally modified CJ-2A.
“1946 CJ2A (flat-fender) HUNTING JEEP 4 WD. THE ONLY THING NOT REBUILT ON THIS JEEP IN THE LAST 5K MILES IS THE ENGINE WHICH DIDN’T NEED IT. ENGINE STARTS EASILY, RUNS SMOOTH. 90% TREAD ON 32 INCH ALL TERRAIN TIRES AND FILLED WITH SLIME. LIGHTS WORK, GAUGES WORK, (PTO WINCH ENGAGING LEVER IS BROKEN), DUXBAK CORDURA CAMO SEAT FABRIC, 2 DOG DOG BOX FOR QUAIL HUNTING WITH SEAT AND TOP STORAGE COMPARTMENT. RECIEVER HITCHES ON FRONT AND BACK BUMPERS. TOWBAR, MANUAL LOCK-OUT HUBS. 3 SPEED MANUAL TRANNY. GREAT HUNTING RIG. I DROVE THIS FOR 7 YEARS ON A HUNTING RANCH AFTER BUILDING/OVERHAULING IT WITH ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS. DON’T HAVE A PLACE TO USE IT ANY MORE”
Dan just picked up this SM420 pretty cheaply, but it has a remote shifter rather than a tower shifter. Anyone have a SM420 Tower they don’t need? If so, leave a comment below and I’ll make sure Dan get’s your message.
Dan notes this tranny came from a M-561 6×6 (note inscription on serial number). Here’s a link to Olive Drab which describes them.

This sports a nice looking winch. This might be a good price. I suspect the engine is a buick 215.

Here’s a great deal. This includes an overdrive and a PTO! The roll cage looks good, too. I’m wondering if this also has the hudson steering, as that steering wheel looks similar to a hudson wheel.
“I am selling a 1940’s ( not sure of the exact year) Willys w/ no title but will do a bill of sale; Would be a great project to restore!! Very solid body w/ minor surface rust, no holes, just a few pin holes here and there; Has a Buick 225 V6 which has a rod knocking; has a good T90 Transmission w/ a good Spicer 18 Transfer Case; Plus some extra parts to go w/ it like a Transmission and Transfer Case, Hard to find WARN Overdrive and PTO; Is NOT Driveable but does run/idle; If you have any more questions”
This includes an overdrive, but it’s still a project. The seller is moving.

(09/20/09) This has got a wide rimmed, slanted dashboard fiberglass body. It also has the rear wheel well extended slightly.
