Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. New Starter, new battery cables, new front and rear brakes, new emergency brake, new master cylinder, new clutch, carburetor rebuilt, choke connected, oil and filter change, new directional signals, steering shaft column rebuilt, reseal transmission and transfer case.

“Stock jeep with power angle plow. 4 cylinder, 3 speed. Brand new wrangler radial tires. 4 wheel drive. Converted to 12 volt electrical system. Brand new brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders and pads. Runs drives and stops. It’s an old jeep so it’s got some rust but nothing detrimental. All body mounts are good. Mileage is unknown but it still runs”
UPDATE: **SOLD** WAS $1000.
This old racer has a fiberglass front clip that looks in good shape. The cage looks worth a few hundred as well. There seems to be some “sweet temptation” here.
“195ish jeep cj2 or cj3 tub. Has No engine or transmission. Frame appears to have been cut on the front? Fiberglass hood and front fenders one piece. No title, appears to have been raced or play in the dunes. What you see in the pictures is all I know”

This is a project with some mods. The seller mistakenly notes that only 6,011 CJ-2A jeeps were made in 1947. The number is actually 65,078.

“The world is not being kind at the moment and things are tough….so things gotta happen….so here is my 57 FC-150 project, Chevy 1 ton axles, 1 ton steering 38” swampers 5:13 gears lockers front and rear, sits on a commando frame ls motor had 150,000 miles on it bolted to a th400 had trans np208 transfer case….a lot of it is together but still a lot done like wiring, motor harness brake lines fuel lines which I have and also new fuel cell…..I have a lot of time and parts in this, this would be a great project for who ever wants to have a FC like no other…..I do have a place to store it if the $#!T hits the fan so I’m not giving this away either price wise….have title going to get it in my name this week if possible….thanks for looking $10,500 obo will sell without wheels, tires and axles for less”

Has some body rust; seems to me this could have been a Surrey. It’s missing the top portion of the dry gauze air filter.
“Real Pink Surrey Edition DJ3A. 2 wheel drive. L134, column shift. Clean title. Will need some TLC. Body has some rust, needs carb rebuilt, and factory tank repaired and put back in(temporary fuel tank in back right now). Brakes work and steers great. Has factory bumpers, hub caps, and some original pink fabric on seats. Was driving around a few months ago. Motor has some smoke. Currently not running. Hard top also available. Bring a trailer. Located in Queen Creek, Az. Can help with transport and possible delivery within reason. Don’t have to sell, just making room for current projects.”
