Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Photo is dated 12-28-1944.”

“I am testing the waters to sell or trade my Willys. If sold I am asking $24K. If trade I want something equal in value or possibly cash on top.
This 1959 Willys Wagon Maverick was restored a few years back by a coffee shop in southern California. They reportedly spent $30K to get it finished. Unfortunately, that coffee shop went tits up so they sold the Willys to the guy I purchased it from. This car is a nice driver not a show car. It has power windows, power steering, A/C, Heat, CD with bluetooth. It has a chevy 350 motor with an automatic transmission. This thing gets lots of attention. It will come with the original vintage roof rack and some other odds and ends. Car is registered in TX but has a CA title in my name.”

This militarized CJ-2A looks solid.
“This is a SOLID 75 year old Willys. Absolutely no rust on body or tub. There is surface rust on undercarriage and engine bay only. Just finished restoring. Body and tub were completely sanded, primered and sprayed with correct OD paint. This Willys is parade and show car quality. Has a CLEAR ARKANSAS TITLE. Starts right up and runs and drives great. 4 Wheel high and low. Good tires. Has 2 new seat belts. Has military fire extinguisher. Included is a shovel and axe as well and

What you see is what you get, NO title. Too bad, I learned how to drive in this jeep. L134 flathead engine, column shift, two-wheel drive. Rusty & rotted. Dont know if engine still turns. This originally had the enclosed rear; what the post office used years ago before they got what they are using today. I was going to part it out but if I can offload it whole it’s just less I have to do. AS-IS as pictured!!”
Can’t say that I’ve ever heard of a “Willy X Jeep”? Looks like a plain old CJ-5 to me.

“This is the nicest and most original 1960 Willy X Jeep you will find under $25,000. 6592 original miles. In 2012 @ 2346 miles a complete rebuild was performed on the entire vehicle, costing $11,000. ALL receipts for the rebuild on hand as well as original jeep documents. Everything on the Jeep works as it should. One light switch knob handle is broken. Little to NO rust, tires are in great condition, 4WD works as it should. It is a one of a kind Jeep. You would have to pay $25,000 to come anywhere close to the quality and collector value of this jeep. This is not a Jeep to slap big wheels on and go mudding. It’s just a pleasure to own this piece of history. I have enjoyed owning this Jeep but as with its second owner, it is hard on my back. I am the 4th owner. You could take this Jeep to a show as it is.”
Has some parts value at the very least. Also had some Allstate or Husky hubs.

“1940’s Spen Trailer in Good Condition. Scarce Spen trailer with even scarcer Spen hubcaps. Appears to have its original floor along with the hard to find original Spen hubcaps, 16″ rims, landing leg, and a very nice tailgate. It needs some panel and frame patches or use as is. Could be restored or use as is with the patina look. Great to pull behind a Willys CJ2A, CJ3A, Wagon or other Jeep. $950 No title. Pick up in Western NC.”
It needs some work, but original late 3B bodies aren’t easy to find.
