These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Blaine spotted this 1947 adorable photo of Lance Borman that’s located at the Smithsonian Institution. It shows Lance in a Good Humor Ice Cream-themed toy jeep.

The press photo was published in several newspapers, including the Charlotte Observer on August 29, 1941.

Blaine spotted a discussion at the Ford-Trucks.com forum on Auxiliary transmissions that included the rare Warn Auxiliary Overdrive. A user named “38 Coupe” shared a bunch of smaller Auxiliary transmission documents that included a Parts and Instruction manual for the Warn AO. So, here it is, along with some photos of a Warn unit that was for sale in April of 2015.

Seats are not original and it has been repainted once. Starts right up and is ready to go!

UPDATE: The jeep and tram are now priced at $5000.
Bill shared this unique jeep. It is a rare opportunity to own a former tour jeep and its associated tram. The owner is selling the building, so this does need to go.
“1948 Willys CJ-2A Engine is a 1964 Ford 289 with original T-90 3 speed transmission. Dana 18 Transfer case with high and low range. Dana 25 front axle and Dana 41 rear axle with 5.38:1 gear ratios.”
This jeep family brochure is one of that last of the “animal series” that I didn’t own. The brochure includes plugs for Maverick, Hong Kong and Jack Paar Shows. It is Form No. DM61-04.
