There’s no date on this Back Hoe Brochure from Go For Digger, but it is likely from the late 1950s. This brochure was accompanied by a letter:
1944 Article Says the Big Three Automakers Are Tepid on the Post War Jeep
The April 27, 1944, article in the Star Tribune out of Minneapolis argues that Ford, GM, and Chrysler did not believe the post-war jeep would be as successful as hoped, due to (1) the hard suspension and (2) a lack of appeal to the “woman of the family”. It seems they were right to be wary from a family perspective, but the big three didn’t foresee the wagons, which attempted to address both of these issues.
Year? Model? North Tazewell, VA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
The frame isn’t 2A or 3A and the front clip appears have truck/wagon. The back appears to be a home brew.

“1942 willys mp35 jeep… was fully restored but it sit in a barn for a long time. Yes it has a title and floors are solid”
1973 DJ-5 Hope Mills, NC $3800
Year? M-38A1 Monroe, NJ $3600
This has an unusual data tag. As best as I can tell, this jeep is an M-38A1 “D”, at least based on m381.com page’s reference to the XM28 tag (see comparison tag here). This may have been one of the last converted M-38A1s into a “D” variant, given only approximately 50 were converted at the Detroit Arsenal.
