“I’m Selling this 1960 Jeep willys FC-170. It is not a FC-150 with the short bed, this is the 3/4 ton with a 9’ bed. This particular truck used to be a hooker/ tow truck at some point. Very good patina. Not as rusty as you may think. I have 10 of them and this is one of my better ones. Very solid bones. No motor or trans. I do have a OM617 turbo diesel I could throw in with the truck for the right price. Or I could sell you the truck with motor installed and running for the right price as well. CLEAN TITLE IN HAND Not interested in trades. $7500 cash only Located in Grand County, Co. Can deliver anywhere for fair price.”
UPDATE: Still Available.

(11/25/2020) “1950 Willys Jeep all original, all metal, almost no rust. Runs and drives just like in 1950. Painted to look like an Army Jeep. Lots of extra parts. Needs a little TLC. $10,000 or best offer”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
Needs some wiring, but runs and drives.
“1951 cj3A Texas jeep with original sheet metal in floors and everywhere else. Very solid throughout. Runs drives and stops great Original 4 cylinder flathead L-134 engine. Strong runner. Converted to 12v at some point. Original 3 speed T-90 in great shape. New tires as seen in pictures. New fuel system tank to Original Carter w/o carb. Complete new exhaust system. New military canvas seat covers. Now you read the good, now for the bad: No working headlights or brake lights. (Easy wiring job on these early models) no working windshield wipers. This has never been a road vehicle since me owning it. So lights and horn not necessary. I did a number of things when I purchased like new water pump, fan belt and hoses, u-joints, distributor, wires, etc Clean Colorado title in my name Call for additional details”
UPDATE: Originally published on February 02, 2014, the pop sci links no longer work, so I’ve now added the complete scan of the article.
This Bantam BRC-40 T2 article was published in December of 1941 in Popular Science (and possibly Mechanix Magazine) under “Tanks CAN Be Destroyed”. In it the author explores different machinery that can stop a tank. You can see variations from what could be the same photo shoot in this Bantam T2 & T2-E1 post.
UPDATE: Apparently, I never published all the pages in this circa 1947-1949 booklet. Also, there’s another one of these booklets on eBay right now: View all the information on eBay
This was originally posted October 23, 2014: Eddie Devlin of the Willys Overland Engineering Art Department sketched a variety of drawings of the factory. Some were published in a book called “WHAT I SAW AT WILLYS OVERLAND”. I’m not sure if the booklet was sold or used as a promotional device.
UPDATE II: Skip is looking for this M-38. It was restored by his father and sold before he passed away. If you know anything about it, feel free to email me at d@deilers.com and I will connect you with Skip.
Originally marked sold May 27, 2016 **SOLD** WAS $6200 and sold out of Hawarden, Iowa

“Jeep CJ7 on Mattracks custom built to pull a fish house through almost anything. I am the second owner. Here is the description from the first owner who built it: I bought a late model jeep cj 7 frame with drive line from a friend. Put the 350 short block, differentials, and 4 speed trans in to this one. Plus a new power steering pump and built the cab. Bought a factory remanufactured engine from Dave Mosney Auto north of DL . The drive line is in real great shape. The trans and differentials had very few miles on them. I was very impressed with the performance of the whole rig. This jeep is a year around toy that is comfortable, warm, great clearance, powerful, super traction.” It has some patina but runs extremely well. Tracks are in great shape. Also comes with a set of tires. ”
