Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
Needs some brake work. Check out the swinging tail gate. The brake lights have been wired into it, saving the body from being cut. It’s a clever setup.
“This fun, little beauty has a Buick V6 motor, it runs great. It will need brakes and a rock strike has broken the windshield. It has lots of other extras, too many to list. It is a lot of fun to run around in. The wife says that we don’t really need two Jeeps. (Wife is the one posting this!!)”

Appears to have a military body. Has an unusual dash design. The hood has been stretched passed the fenders.

Has brand new American Racing rims & tires. Runs great!…Must see to appreciate. $4000.00 OBO with rims and tires/$3000.00 without. Jeep needs a bath!…The Jeep is black, but has been setting in a storage building over the winter and has dust covering it.”

It’s a project, but does have the aftermarket dash, rarely installed in CJ-5s.
